Mitch (John McCain et all  except Susan Collins) allows the Senate caucus to lie about ObamaCare Repeal and then complains when he is scolded by the Prez.

Trump is a businessman,  not a stinking politician.  He believes in getting things done,  and he is doing it  . . . . .   or should I say,  "He is undoing it?"

When Trump came into office,  he was under the same delusions we all were,  that he was bringing change to Congress.  Its not that Trump was wrong.  Rather,  the fact remains that McConnell and Company want the Senate to operate under the same arcane rules of the past 200 years.  They are not about to allow change.

The GOP can change the rules of the Senate and try to match the accomplishments of the House.  But,  No !,  "we need to return to regular order"   . . . . . .  as John McCain puts it.  What blow !!!

And who died and made McCain the official "military overlord" in the Senate, anyway?

Trump was lied to.  We all were.  I mean,  why wouldn't we believe that everything was in place for "Day #1?"  They sent several ObamaCare Repeal bills to Obama's desk in previous years, using Obama as an excuse for their (GOP leadership) incompetence.  Turns out,  Barack was not the only accomplished liar on the hill.

And then the unthinkable happened,  WE got our president and THEY were discovered to be nothing but liars,  working only for their re-election.

I am hoping,  with good reason,  that the RNC is more on the side of Trump than on the side of the pretenders in the Senate.  Not all Senators are liars,  but those who signed onto those past Repeal bills and then walked away from that vote,  they are the liars and need to be replaced as soon as possible.  Murkowsky,  McCain, Tillis,  and Flake come to mind.

I did not include Susan Collins.  She represents her state and has never pretended to be a serious conservative.  I have nothing but respect for her,  but not for the others.

If tax reform is off the table  (as it appears to be) with only a small minded tax cut on the horizon,  well,  that will be another example of the ineptness of the Senate.  Time to blow up the Senate.  We do not need it anyway.
