Midknight Review -- new and revised: If you think the libers are winning, you simply have no explanation for the troubled times the liberal media is experiencing.

I use the services of several "news portals," sites that record headlines of the day. Drudge (a right leaning portal) is one, Memeorandum (left leaning portal). The AP is a third. My Way is a fourth . . . .   all dedicated news portal sites. My Way news portal is shutting down, however, a victim of alternative media. I don't know if My Way was liberal or conservative. I only know that it is no longer needed.

Competing with the sites mentioned above, are the Right Wing Media, including Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, a host of local conservative radio personalities, Brietbart, Fox News (with its emphasis on fair and balanced), and social media, giving President Trump immediate access to 120 million Americans. This Conservative Media or "alternative" media, actually reaches as many folks, if not more, than does the left wing, network sites.

Network media controlled all the news for decades. They invented the task of "vetting" our candidates, as if their opinion counted for more than the opinions of millions of folks who despise network "news." "Back in the day," you never saw an event that was not branded or labeled by the Networks.

Today, that is no longer the case. The Times is little more than pamphlet. ESPN is losing viewship in droves because it insists on telling us what it thinks about politics. The NY Times just laid off 300 more reporters and supporting staff. It takes CNN, HLN, and MSNBC combined to equal the audiences of Fox News. The additional supremacy of Fox Business News, adds to this imbalance.

In short order, we may come to realize that "Obama style theocracy" was the pinnacle of Left Wing, European style "commun-ism."

I write "theocracy" because, clearly, Left Wing dogma has become a religion, replete with a refusal to compromise, or, to step back from their divisive opinions. The Left has come to a point that it is willing to put the future of our representative democracy to rest, a position that includes the willingness to kill for "the cause."    We are - literally - at that point, today.

They started the first Civil War, and are at the threshold of starting a second Civil War. They have been stealing our money and engineering their Left Wing social order since forever. The time has come for a change in that direction. They don't give a damn. Hopefully, that is not the prevailing opinion.

The Stated Nonsense from the Left now includes these Progressive goals:

July 2, 2008, Obama had this to say: "We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."

MICHELLE OBAMA: "Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversation; we're going to have to change our traditions, our history; we're going to have to move into a different place as a nation."

On September 30, Van Jones told MSNBC "I think everybody should hold onto your seats. October is going to be the turning point when it comes to the progressive fight back."
