Trump fires James Comey . . . . . . finally.

Update:  Now the Dems are using the Comey firing as evidence that Trump fired Comey to cover his collusion with the Russians.  This,  in spite of the testimony yesterday, of Director Clapper that there was no collusion,  in testimony behind closed doors, and as confirmed by Senator Chuck Grassley.

Last week, when Comey last appeared before the Senate committee investigating all the crap surrounding the 2016 elections,  and Comey's role in that election,  the Director justified his announcement,  11 days before the election,  that he had re-opened the Hillary email investigation because of thousands of emails Huma Abedin sent thousands of emails to her husband's Blackberry.  Basically,  his reasoning was this:  "How could I ignore all this new information/evidence?"

Turns out that this morning,  headlines told us that Comey had made a mistake in saying "thousands of emails" forced his reopening.  "Thousands" was reduced to a few, maybe 15 or 20 or 100,  but not "thousands."  And with that,  his reason for re-opening the investigation went down the drain.

And Trump fired him.

  1. Donald Trump tried to fend off the mounting investigations into his scandals by firing FBI Director James Comey today – but it may not matter. In a move which was announced almost concurrently, and may be in response to the firing or may simply be a sign of how far the investigations have progressed, the Senate Intelligence Committee is now invoking the U.S. Treasury to go after Trump’s finances.

    1. No crimes have been committed or alleged. Not a sliver of evidence for a Trump/Russia collusion. Nothing wrong with vetting Trump via the Treasury Department. They have been investigating this made up Russian story since before July of 2016 and have found nothing. James Clapper, yesterday, admitted that there is no evidence for collusion on the part of Trump. Flynn's probs have nothing to do with Trump and there is no evidence to the contrary.
