Total number of folks who watched the Hillary/Trump debates: 259 million, far exceeding Barack/Hillary debates.
Trump out performed Hillary (popular vote) in the 49 states outside of California and beat Obama in head to head campaigning in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina and Florida.
Trump took 220 of the 600 congressional districts won my Obama in 2012.
When you combine the 45 million estimated to have watch the inauguration on televised media with the 800,000 in attendance, you have the most watched presidential inauguration in history.
And none of this counts the 50 million folks on Trumps social media network.
Clearly delusional. 250,000 in attendance. It wasn't even as big as the women's march... not even close. Keep trying to convince yourself. Maybe if you can surround yourself with sycophants and Breitbart, and believe the LIES Trump's press secretary spouted today, you can create your own reality.
ReplyDeleteOne helluva way to start a presidency. These are easily proven metrics. You can not escape the reality unless, perhaps you have a mental illness. Watch the press in the coming days. You'll see stats on mass transit, bus parking, aireal photos, etc... Today conclusively has proven who Trump is. As 25 year CIA man Brennan pointed out, Trump spent much of his speech -- which he gave in front of a memorial wall that honors the 117 CIA officers who have fallen in the line of duty -- focusing on the size of the crowd size at his inauguration, his appearance on magazine covers and saying he "has a running war with the media." Pathetic and childish. He is a self-aggrandizing narcissist, a thin-skinned emotional infant who responds to even the mildest slight with predictable schoolyard invective. His priorities are surrounding himself with sycophants and punishing his enemies. Many people said he would change and show more response / message discipline. Not going to happen. And he commands a nuclear arsenal. How did we get here? Did you know he hired actors to applaud his announcement that he was running for President? He puts a table full of blank file folders as a prop in his 1st news conference as 'evidence' of his divestment. What kind of an idiot buys this shit? Answer: John D. Smithson

ReplyDeleteThis was the most watched inauguration is history. That is a fact. Previous record was not Obama (he had the largest On-The-Mall crowd in history 1.8 million), but Reagan with 42 million folks watching the televised version, was the previous record. Trump's numbers came in at 30 million, beating out all previous inaugurations including Obama poor showing in 2012 (a little over 20 million) going back to Reagan. and this does not count social media. Nor does it count CNN's streaming video watched by 16 million nor Fox's streaming video coverage, not yet reported. 12 Networks and CNN's streaming video totals 46 million, along. Social media and Fox's streaming media will put the number watching this inauguration at well over 50 million.
