A multi-million dollar expansion of President-elect Donald Trump’s golf resort in Scotland is reportedly underway just days after his attorneys said no new foreign deals would be made.
Expansion
plans for the Trump International Golf Course Scotland in Aberdeenshire
include a second 18-hole golf course and a new 450-room five-star
hotel, timeshare complex and private housing estate, The Guardian reported Saturday.
Trump
officials claim the venture does not conflict with the
president-elect’s promise not to pursue new or “pending deals” during
his presidency to avoid any conflicts of interest.
“Implementing
future phasing of existing properties does not constitute a new
transaction so we intend to proceed,” a Trump Organization spokeswoman
told the Guardian.
Trump’s attorney, Sheri Dillon, told reporters at a
news conference last Wednesday that Trump’s company would not be making
any new foreign deals and would appoint an ethics adviser to sign off
on new domestic business agreements.

Putin today defended Trump ... and patriot Smithson is more than eager to believe every word Putin says.
ReplyDeleteHeinz-Christian Strache, an ally of Putin, was invited to attend the Trump inauguration. Trump’s National Security Advisor, Mike Flynn, met with Strache, leader of Austria’s “Freedom Party” in December. The Freedom party has a long history of being aligned with Nazis, as its first leader was Anton Reinthaller, who was a literal former Nazi official and member of Nazi’s elite SS. Your people.
I have over 10,000 folks who read this blog from time to time . . . . and none of them think I am a Nazis or Putin lover. So keep blowing through the back of your head and see how many more elections you lose.
