Ben Carson will be nominated as the next secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
His responsibilities will include home ownership, aid for distressed neighborhoods, low income housing, fair housing laws and the issue of homelessness in America.

It is being reported that Carson has accepted the nomination.
