Mission Statement: This blog reviews the news of the day in light of 242 years of American history. "Nationalism," a modern day pejorative, has been our country's politic throughout history, until 2008. Obama changed that narrative. Trump is seeking a return to our historical roots. Midknight Review supports this return to normality.
Obama - protector of the middle class, strikes again and, yet, the AARP thinks he is doing a good job.
So, how come that was not the case in 2008 when oil prices when down, under GW Bush? Medicare annual adjustments were prohibited in 2009 and 2010 fiscal years for the same reason . . . low inflation rate.

ReplyDeleteObama remains the most admired man in the world
fact!
So how come his party came into power as the strongest Democrat party in recent history, and now stands at its lowest level of political power in 100 years? How come the Dems had 27 governors in 2008 and own only 17 governor spots, today? How come he did not win any election by percentages this survey suggests? I mean, Gallup gave him a 19% vote and Bill Clinton (who came in second place as an American politician) 3% yet Obama lost 3.5 million votes in 2012 compared to his 2008 total. The poll is meaningless. BTW, Gallup no longer scores primary elections prelims. Why? Because it is terrible at the job.
DeleteIf this "cut" to my Social Security check, an investment I made based on government promises, an investment that had no federal funds in it (I paid half and my employer paid the other half of 16% of my paycheck) is figured on a 20 year loop (and this refusal to pay what was promised is never repaid), the total loss of income to me 1380 dollars per year or more than 26,000 during my retirement years. Multiply this by 70 million people on SS and you have the largest cut in income to history.
ReplyDeleteYes !!! And to think that the Left wants us to believe this crap that the "recovery": has been one of the best in American history. We are looking at 1.82 trillion dollars saved by Central Planning over the course of 20 years and the recovery is "supper?" Shut up and try to finish your remedial schooling.
