Point of this post: Trust but verify . . . . and sometimes, don't trust any politician or party. (Yes, I am still a conservative, but . .)

Here is the subject headline and conservative media's view of what Obama said  (read the headline and the first two sentences of the text):

‘We’re doomed’: Obama said something REALLY ‘chilling’ in UN address

This is where “hope and change” have led: President Obama told the United Nations he wants the whole world to become a “collective endeavor.”
In his address to the U.N. General Assembly Monday, Obama spoke one line that struck some people as chilling.

Now,  read what Obama actually said:

“Together, we must strengthen our collective capacity to establish security where order has broken down” —@POTUS #UNGA

Question:  Does the reader see the difference between the headline and text in contrast to Obama's actual statement?  Understand that the headline and related commentary are from a conservative news "source"  (I never use this source but receive it in my email box).

I assume the presidential tweet is the sum and substance of what he said,  at the UN.  Maybe not.  But to quote this tweet and, then,  make a statement that has nothing to do with the tweet quoted,  is exactly what many of us on the Right hate.

Clearly,  thw world needs to come together in an immediate effort to eliminate the likes of ISIS.

Understand, it is not "OK" to make up arguments against Obama or the Left.  Not "OK" and not needed.  Why embellish when the Left is being run by those who do not tell the truth AS A MATTER OF POLICY or sell its legislative agenda without outright lying about its features ("You can keep your doctor, period").

Some of you believe that what is going on in the Middle East represents an Obama failure.  I believe just the opposite.  Obama says all the right things BUT,  clearly,  the facts are very different.  What is going on in the Middle East is part and partial to what Obama has in mind.  He does not want the US in a position of leadership in the Middle East.  He does not want this country to be the strongest military nation in the world.  He does not want allies that support traditional US policies.  He rejects American exceptionalism at all levels.

He is the one who told Putin,  "I will be more flexible after the (2012) elections,"  and that flexibility is exactly what we have seen in Obama's "failed" Middle East policies.
