Jeb Bush - a great speech and a better reception. Tell me the GOP is not more "on fire" than Hillary's Democrats and you will be dreaming. (you need to listen to Jeb's speech - my man is Rubio but Bush is great, as well).

I am conservative,  as you know,  but don't let the radical Right tell you that Bush is pro-Common Core when,  in fact, he supports Common Core but on a state by state circumstance   . . . . . .  and he is radically opposed to Central Planning running our states' educational systems on any level.

Also,  as to "amnesty," he believes in a closed border, first,  and a 10 year waiting period before anyone coming to this country,  legally,  can vote.  If you believe sending all the illegals home is the solution to our immigration problems,  you do not know that the true immigration numbers are around 30 million folks,  already here.  If you think we are going to send them home,  you are as delusional as the Utopians are.

  1. GQ: How old do you think the Earth is?

Marco Rubio: I’m not a scientist, man. I can tell you what recorded history says, I can tell you what the Bible says, but I think that’s a dispute amongst theologians ... I don’t think I’m qualified to answer a question like that. At the end of the day, I think there are multiple theories out there on how the universe was created ... Whether the Earth was created in 7 days, or 7 actual eras, I’m not sure we’ll ever be able to answer that. It’s one of the great mysteries.

A SCIENTIFICALLY ILLITERATE PRESIDENT ? So the fact that one of his first instincts when asked a scientific question is to turn to “what the Bible says” ???

    President?

    1. Written by a man who believes there are no wrong answer on Common Core Math problems . . . . just as long as the kid has a grasp on the process. But it does not stop there. This is a man who believes that "white" can be "black" and a man can simply say he is a woman, and BAM, he is a woman. I mean, how scientific is that? The Big Bang and the age of the Earth are both couched in theory, no scientific fact. They are philosophical "solutions" by definition. This is a man who believes that science is "settled" when, in point of fact, science, by definition, is never settled. This is a man who believes that voting on a "fact," makes it a fact . . . . thus the import of claims for a consensus on global warming.

Rubio did not take a position and Obama will not explain his strategy for much of anything. Which is the more important consideration? The answer is obvious.

    2. Why is Smithson so obsessed with transgenders? Why is he always bringing it up to attack Democrats? Perhaps Smithson is "tranny curious?"

    3. I deal with current events. And you Dems put something about "transgender" in the news each and every day . . . . . so who is obsessed with the tranny world? Besides, I am not sure you comment is a criticism since you believe in the tranny world and help create it, politically.

    4. You are the only one I know who talks about trannys daily. What's your problem? Why don't you just leave those people alone, and get back to your main job of attacking blacks?

    5. I would think a man with a post grad degree would know how to count. Apparently not.
