Hillary shares in Obama's view on "faith." That is why she never speaks of faith, in her personal appearances.

Democracy demands that the religiously motivated translate their concerns into universal,  rather than religion-specific values.  What do I mean by this?  It requires that their proposals be subject to argument and amenable to reason.  I may be opposed to abortion for religious reasons,  to take on example,  but if I seek to pass a law banning the practice,  I cannot simply point to the teachings of my  church or evoke God’s will.  I have to explain why abortion violates some principle that is accessible to people of ll faiths,  including those with no faith at all.

Editor's notes:   Before commenting on the obvious,  keep in mind Obama's penchant for deceiving his audience.  In the above statement,  he allows that he might have objections to abortions,  when,  in fact,  he is a pro-abortion freak.  There is no form of abortion with which he disagrees.  Understand that this statement was made in 2006 before it was well known that he had already been chosen as the Marxist Progressives' "path into the future."

While he  confuses the populace as to abortion,  he is quite clear with regard to his view of personal faith.  And,  that pov is this:  faith issues are subservient to the mores of societal demands.  More than this,  his theory gives the atheist and Marxist Progressive charge over a person of faith  . . . . .    over any person of faith.

Most importantly,  this statement is an indictment against any who believe Obama is driven by anything other than his own point of view.  He is an humanist Utopian,  not a Christian or a Muslim,  in the typical sense of those words.   His "faith" is defined by what he can prove to an unbeliever.  It is that simple.  In other words,  his faith is compatible with the "faith" of people like Bill Mayer. No wonder he is the first president to claim that this nation is not a Christian nation;  no wonder he is the first "Christian" president to prefer Islam over any other religions in terms of nuclear power and weaponry,  support versus anything Israeli,  or the unfettered expression of ideas in this country versus the push to silence opposition speech.

"Game of War" is currently on an advertising benign.  I mention this because its commercial begins with this preposterous statement:  "Time is the overseer of all things."  Sadly,  Obama would agree,  and that explains why he is an enemy of people of faith.

  1. Smithson DEMANDS a religious test for public office. Why don't you start reading the constitution and following the principles of our founders for a change?

Perhaps you need to rewrite the Bible, make a Republican version:

    Matthew 25:31 (GOP version)

"You were hungry and thirsty, so I eliminated funding for Meals On Wheels and food banks. You were a stranger, so I vilified you and demanded that you be deported. You were naked, so I called you an evil liberal who hates conservative family values. You were sick, so I repealed your only hope for health care. You were in prison, so I tortured you."

    1. Your opening statement is a total intentional lie. But, that is matter of strategy, with you Marxists . . . . lying to win the argument. Me ? I only want equal time with the infidels and the continued protections that the 1st and 2nd Amendments give me. You disagree. So, who is the the "oppressor," in this case?

  2. When asked if they supported “establishing Christianity as the national religion,” 57 percent of the Republicans surveyed told Public Policy Polling (PPP) that they were in favor.

    1. Sooo, you think a survey of 300 people presents an accurate view of the larger 40 million member GOP community? No one I know wants an official religion of any kind.

  3. How many non-religious people share in the christian fetus fetish?

Jesus loves fetuses but hates Muslims, Gays, Democrats, hippies, and all people that aren't like you.

    1. Apparently you are perfectly comfortable with killing a viable 5 pound unborn baby. Secondly, you obviously have no clue as to the mission and mercy of the Nazarene.
