<<<< Bowe Bergdahl, a willful deserter to the US Military and the Afghan War, is pictured, here, with his mother. Sadly, the Obama's are set to treat him as if he was some kind of hero, when, in fact, the truth is just the opposite. Correction: this is Mom and Dad Bergdahl.

You should know that Obama met with the Bergdahl family, father and mother,
on Saturday. |
Editor's motes: Maggie's Notebook emails updates to me and hundreds of other. The following is one of those updates. I publish this, in its entirety, because of its email source. I recommend the Notebook to your blogroll. The author(s) is a bit more main-line conservative than I, but without crossing lines (printing monkey pictures of the Obama's, calling for violence as a protest to their detestable and personal agenda, etc). This article is most timely. We are reminded that Bowe Bergdahl voluntarily left his base, in Afghanistan, and did so without explanation, his weapons, or any statement of regret. His father, obviously radicalized to honor the murders who "captured" his son, supports the GITMO prisoners of war (Obama calls them "detainees") as if they are only captives for a season.
Maggie's report is documented and disturbing. Understand that Bergdahl (pronounced "berg - doll" with no pun intended), was promoted to Sargent in absentia -- WHILE HE WAS AWOL but in the custody of the Taliban. His father spoke in Arabic and helps to clear the air on why his son was not beheaded . . . . . . . turns out that he was and is a sympathizer of the Taliban, along with his Commander in Chief.
Updated Note: Understand that a "sympathizer" is someone who "understands the reasoning behind the Taliban's aggression the United States." Hussein Obama has publicly recognized the legitimacy of Radical Islam's complaints, while not agreeing with their military conclusions. So, too, are the opinions of the Bergdahl family.
In addition to the report, below, you will want to read the account of one who was actually "there." Six Seals lost their lives looking for this deserter/traitor. Read the
account here.
Update #1: Sunday afternoon, Susan Rice was back on the stump, this time refusing to answer the question, "Was Bergdahl a deserter?" That will not fly. Expect to hear more about this, beginning Monday morning and throughout the week.
Update #2: Looks like the outrage is beginning to rise, with clarity: Here is the afternoon's lede at
Breitbart.com, here:
In 2010, The Taliban claimed U.S. soldier Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl had converted to Islam and had taught them bomb-making techniques. Bergdahl had also changed his name to Abdullah, the Taliban claimed, though the mainstream media largely ignored the story, seeing it as comparable to the tale of Sgt. Brody in the fictional Homeland television series on Showtime.
Update #3 And, now, the Daily Beast, is carrying this account, of one who was there and knows first hand, of Bergdahl's desertion:
The Daily
Beast’s Christopher Dickey later wrote that
"[w]hether Bergdahl…just walked away from his base or was lagging behind
on a patrol at the time of his capture remains an open and fiercely debated
question.” Not to me and the members of my unit.
Make no
mistake: Bergdahl did not "lag behind on a patrol,” as was cited in news
reports at the time. There was no patrol that night. Bergdahl was relieved from
guard duty, and instead of going to sleep, he fled the outpost on foot. He
deserted. I’ve talked to members of Bergdahl’s platoon—including the last
Americans to see him before his capture. I’ve reviewed the relevant documents.
That’s what happened.
Now, on to Maggie's Notebook
Bob Bergdahl, Bowe Bergdahl's father Tweeted that he is working to free all Gitmo prisoners. He said that God will repay for the death of every Afghan child. In another tweet dated May 28, 2014, Bob tweets in Arabic and in English, saying "@ABalkhi my son speaks about unjust death of Afghan children; shahamat-movie.com." I can't embed it, but here are screen grabs.

Another Bob Bergdahl Tweet (father of Bowe Bergdahl, released from Taliban on May 31, 2014)
Bowe Bergdahl was not captured in battle. He reportedly walked off the base after his shift. He did not take his weapons. He was held for five years before the Navy SEALS rescued him in exchange for five hard-cord Islamists held in Gitmo.
"Ameen" is about the same as "Amen," or 'believe my prayer of supplication' from what I find on the InterTubes.
When Obama announced Bowe Bergdahl's release today, the parents were with him. Bob Bergdahl spoke in Arabic, saying first that his son had not heard English for 5 years and was having a difficult time "speaking." In Arabic, he said something like "Bowe, this is your father." I believe he also said something to Afghanis. In the rescue helicopter, it was reported that it was very noisy. Bowe wrote "SF?" on a paper plate, asking if his rescuers were "Special Forces." They spoke to him in English confirming and said "we've been looking for you for a long time," or something close to that. Bergdahl understood it and began to cry. Really, would we lose our English as an adult after five years not hearing it, or hearing it very little? I don't think so.
CNN and other sources are referring to Bowe Bergdahl as "Sgt." Wikipedia says he was promoted in absentia. He entered the Army in the Fall of 2008.

Must be... he has a long beard.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it is because he calls for revenge on our American soldiers, for the deaths of the innocent children he blames on the US, or the fact that he is currently working for the release of the Muslim killers in GITMO.
