Major Media stories such as this confirm the fact that Gen Powell is nothing more than a simple minded bigot who relied on the military success of Gen Norman Schwarzcopf for his most notable career advancement into the world of politics. His refusal to admit to Obama’s mindless foreign policy on every stage in world politics coupled with his “eyes closed” acceptance of Obama’s domestic politics, proves his inability as a presidential candidate or national leader at any level.

The reason the GOP is dying is that when an intellectual minority like Powell tries to give his party sound advice, he is attacked by the far-right morons like Smithson that are killing the party. It's exactly what I want to see. Keep it up, see where it gets you. The rational Republicans have been muted by the science denying, teavangelical anti-intellectual moron extremists. Thankfully, they are bringing down the GOP and people like Powell will never be able to stop them.

Science deniers ??? It is your party who argues that men can be women and women men simply by making an announcement. It is your party that refuses to accept the fact that the earth has not been heating up for two decades, now.

Anti-intellectual ?? It is your Al Gore who has refused to debate global warming more than 500 times. It is your side that refuses to debate any of the major domestic issues. It is your side that is hell bent on criminalizing all independent and opposing speech.
