A CNN headline during Tuesday's 11 a.m. hour of Newsroom asked,
"Should Bush officials be tried for war crimes?" CNN legal analyst
Lisa Bloom argued that the U.S. should submit to the jurisdiction of the
International Criminal Court for the mass murder of Iraqis that far exceeded
the 9/11 atrocities. Bloom added this
gem about Bush being held accountable for "murdering" Iraqis: "If
someone [and "someone" certainly includes Bush and Cheney] invaded our country based on false premises and murdered 100,000 to a
million of our people, as we are accused of doing in Iraq, depending on whose
estimate you believe, would we be so sanguine? Would we be so forgiving? Or
would we demand some accountability?"

Ignorant has no clue what she is talking about.
The killing of terrorist targets was very concise. When in neighborhoods, terrorists were killed at long distance by
airborne gun shops. Some were killed
hiding in houses, and collateral deaths,
were recorded in those cases.
There were no collateral deaths recorded in open battlefield
assaults. We killed more than 40,000
actual terrorist fighting forces and no more than 4,000 unintended deaths. The 100,000 to 1 million deaths, this wingnut refers to, is an estimate that includes all deaths
during the war, including the 100,000 to
1 million Iraqis killed by Muslim jihadists.
The Left blames Bush because “Muslims would not have killed Muslims if the US had not invaded that
country.”
Bush had legal and congressional permission to invade Iraq. He
had UN permission, as well. He
took 14 months to enter the country from the time he first warned Saddam to
cease and desist. He was told of the WMD’s by Bill Clinton and Clinton’s own
CIA, not to mention all other
intelligence agencies in the world and Saddam,
himself. Gen. Colin Powell, while admitting the absence of WMD’s, has always insisted that such was not a lie. Obama’s
time frame for getting out of that country,
was, in reality, the Bush plan.
