Think Progress pretends to oppose big money and corporate control as it whines about the GOP. They really fool no one, but they continue to try.

Right-Wing Group Spent At Least $300,000 To Keep Scott Walker Ally on Wisconsin Supreme Court   In the grand scheme of things,  this headline is a little about less.  And the whiners at Think Progress should be ashamed of themselves for the very mention of this circumstance.  Their side of the aisle spent 2 million dollars attempting to oust Governor Walker,  and most of the money came from outside the state .  You may not remember,  but Walker won his recall election by a wider margin than his inaugural election and the state’s unions lost thousands of members,  over the matter.

The article makes the implicit claim that the GOP is rolling in the dough,  while the lowly Democrat Party is loyal to its “small money” principles.  Sadly,  for the sake of truth,  this is another misrepresentation.  B Obama was the first presidential candidate (2008) to refuse “matching funds”  and the limitations that brought into play. He outspent John McCain by a 2:1 margin and,  to this day,  has refused to publish the names of those donors giving nearly 400 million dollars in small donations.  In fact,  the promise to abide by the McCain/Feingold campaign finance rules was his first broken promise and lie.  McCain followed the rules,  Obama did not and,  in the end,  McCain raised 380 million against Obama’s 7.8 million.

As to the recent 2012 elections,  the Obama/Democrat money machine,  including local union contributions of more than 700 million dollars and the near billion dollars coming from George Soros and his various collectives,  raised a nominal 3.5 billion dollars  compared to a 2 billion dollar grand total for the GOP.

Under Obama's rule,  the Progressive/Socialist party we call the Democrat Party,  has surrendered most of its principles as it works to curb opposition speech rights,  the right to work for the average American, its stance against "big money,"  its pretense against "corporate America,"  and its stand as the anti-war Party.

Point of post:  simply "FYI."
