The Obama administration’s Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
(the EEOC) threatens to sue businesses
that refuse to hire the “ex-con.” It argues that this should be a federal
crime, and in view of what Obama and his
EEOC has determined should be the case,
they are in the process of deciding to enforce that bit of Obama’s
non-legislated “fairness doctrine.”
Because black me are more than seven times likely to be
ex-cons, Obama sees a problem relating
to racial bias, and intends to put a
stop to this so-called “bias action.”
In his mind, it is
not fair that black men raised in desperate circumstances, and having paid their debt to society, should have to live with their crimes for the
rest of their lives. In fact, he wants to see their voting rights reconstituted, as well.
So much for background checks, something the EEOC frowns on, as well. So involved is EEOC’s criticism of
background checks and its threat to sue if it determines that race played a
role in the refusal to hire, that many
believe businesses will simply forgo the background check, altogether.
(Certainly, that was
the case, as relates to Barack Hussein
Obama.)
Understand that businesses meeting state and local hiring
requirements, can, nonetheless,
be sued by the Central Government.
Under the new guidelines, a
company would have to do an “individual assessment” that proves the company has
a vested interest in NOT hiring the ex-con
-- in the opinion of this blog’s
editor, a near impossible task.
The EEOC has already began to implement this opinion, and the case that is brought this to
light, is truly startling.
Last April, EEOC sued G4S Secure Solutions, a company that provides security for nuclear
power plants, for not hiring a two-time convicted
felon as a security guard. Understand
that this was in spite of the fact, that Pennsylvania carries laws that forbid
the hiring of felons as security guards.
What you will not learn from any other source on the
net, with regards to this particular
story, is the fact that in this
action, Obama is clearly working as a
presidential advocate for the black community.
Michelle wrote a paper, while at Princeton, during her senior year and in fulfillment of requirements for her B.A. degree, that trumpeted the theme of educated blacks
returning to their communities to help and assist those blacks who have been
left behind.
That was her belief back then, and that is his assignment, today.
Her paper can be found here.
