Update: according to The Hill:, Obama's combined audience was 33 million combined on 16 different networks, the lowest combined audience in 12 years and one of the lowest in modern times. The still like the man, but his rhetoric is crap and people know this.

In 2010, Obama’s State of the Union speech brought in over 33 million on each of the three “major” networks (Yahoo.news.com). This year, those totals were nowhere in sight. According to Deadline Hollywood: CBS was the most-watched network for the one-hour-plus speech and coverage with 6.22 million viewers. NBC was next with 5.79 million, followed by ABC with 4.59 million.

Now, the Dems can go on thinking they have some kind of mandate, but Obama has no influence, just recorded the largest audience drop in American history, and finds himself at odds on all issues except immigration and a minor gun reform proposal.

In the national elections, (2012) 12 million fewer than expected, voted for Obama which included 8 million fewer than in 2008.

I believe the Dems are in much bigger trouble than they are willing to reveal. Want to know why he is going to use "executive orders" this time around?

Because he does not have the influence to get things done, legally.
