Who's ahead? Depends on who is talking, but, one thing for certain, Romney is "closing the gap."

<<< This story is about CNN,  but this election map is an American Enterprise map,  showing Romney with a commanding lead.

What’s wrong with the CNN report filed today,  Monday the 1st?

Fifty-percent of likely voters questioned in the CNN survey, which was released Monday, say that if the election were held today, they would vote for the president, with 47% saying they would support Romney, the former Massachusetts governor. The president's three point margin is within the poll's sampling error.

Three other national polls of likely voters released in the past 24 hours also indicate a tight race. The other surveys are from ABC News/Washington Post, Politico/George Washington University, and American Research Group. A CNN Poll of Polls which averages all four surveys plus a Fox News poll released late last week puts Obama at 49% and Romney at 46% among likely voters.

"What's wrong,"  I ask?  It does not show Obama running off with the election.  In fact,  the CNN election map shows Obama with 237 electoral votes to Romney’s 191 – a 46 point difference. Two months ago,  we were looking at a 100 point differential with Obama already over the 270 vote margin,  needed to win the election.

Remember last week and the worries we conservatives were experiencing?  Shazzam !!!  Today Obama has a 3 point lead with Romney advancing.
Understand what is about to happen.  The partisan polls,  with their reputations at stake,  will be forced to start telling more of the truth than they have,  up until now.

Rasmussen has this election tied,  both nationally and in the 12 Swing States,  with 15% still undecided.  In short order, all those polls that care about the reputations,  will start looking like Rasmussen clones.
