Understand this, Obama's debate performance was as bad as it gets, and 67 million Americans were watching. Secondly, the “first debate” is separated from the second presidential debate, by two weeks. Regarding that first debate impression, 67 million folks have this to think about, for two full weeks. And Obama has no venue that allows him to speak to more than a few thousand, between now that second debate.

Doubling down on calling Romney a liar or using "high altitude sickness" as a debate excuse or digging up more dirt on Romney -- none of this amounts to more than a "mole hill" when contrasted with the Debate Mountain of last Wednesday's Obama failure.

Obama's chickens have come home to roost. Indeed, Obama laid an egg and it gets to incubate for two full weeks. Sweet.
