Debate polling

Gallup released this number this morning (10/17/12), showing Romney moving away from Obama by 2 points over yesterday. Today's number was 51 to 45. Obama has never been above 50 in this Gallup poll. I do not believe this number reflects last night's debate.

While the debate last went, went to Obama by a very small margin, the numbers on the economy (70%), the deficit (65%) and taxes (54%) all went to. Romney. Understand that these three issues are the three most important issues facing voters - and Romney won a crushing victory in two of the three categories (as reported by Fox News).

Update: CBS gave the economy to Romney, 65 to 34; CNN 54 to 40 in favor of Romney.
