I [almost] never listen to network news. CNN and MSNBC, yes.
I listen to morning Fox, especially the business channel as well as
CNBC and Bloomberg. I seldom listen to O'Reilly, Greta, Shepard
"Bourbon Boy" Smith, all on Fox, the morning shows, news
on NBC, CBS AND ABC. As a result of my sequestered lifestyle. I
was surprised to see the near panic over the "aspirin between the
legs" issue, a joke told by one of Santorum's supporters, and the
phony "shock" expressed by those who celebrate the liberation of
porn and the introduction of pro-sex material in our schools. Sorry, but
I don't get the angst. Jay Leno once joked, on television,
before God and everyone, that our new national bird should be the
"spread eagle." So why wasn't that condemned? On a scale
of 1 to 10, "aspirin" ranks a "1" and the
"spread eagle joke, probably a "6" or higher.
Both are funny. Both are jokes.
Anyway, in
the midst of all this Democrat hypocrisy, we have Rick Santorum
defending himself by pointing to the fact that he has always supported Title X, a health care provision that
has been around since the 1970's, a provisionary piece of legislation
that continues funding
for Planned Parenthood and guarantees the availability
of contraception
Turns out that hypocrisy is not just a Leftist problem. While Santorum is nailing Romney for his
supposed pro-abortion stance, he has been
in full support of Planned Parenthood,
hence his vote to continue funding for this pro Nazi approach to birth
control.

Here is the official description of Title X
Abortion and Title X: What Health Care Providers Need to
Know
What is Title X?
Title X ("title ten") is a part of the United
States Public Health Service Act.
It is a federal program devoted solely to
providing family planning services. It was first enacted in 1970 with broad
bipartisan support. The program provides federal
funds for project grants to public and private nonprofit organizations for the
provision of family planning information and services. Community-based
providers including Planned Parenthood affiliates,
university health
centers, independent clinics, hospitals, public and nonprofit agencies, and
state and local health departments are eligible for Title X funds. The majority
of Title X clients are low-income, uninsured, and do not qualify for Medicaid.
What types of services does Title X fund?
Title X funds may be used to pay for gynecological
examinations and basic lab tests; and screening services for STDs, HIV, breast
cancer, cervical cancer, high blood pressure, and anemia. Title X funds may also be used for contraceptive
information and services, pregnancy testing, and community outreach.
Since the inception of Title X, a statutory prohibition against the use of
Title X funds for abortion has existed in Section 1008 of the law. It states
that no Title X funds can be used "in programs where abortion is a method
of family planning." (Source: ProChoice,org)
