So,
how should conservatives address the news embedded in such headlines as
this:
CNN poll: Obama's job approval back to 50%; Update: Obama leads
all GOP candidates in swing states ?
The truth?
We should ignore it. And
why? Because is comes from CNN. Understand that a news agency committed to a
biased point of view, should garner no
respect from any American, much less the
conservative 60% of the nation.
I never quote a poll from any of the
following: USA Today, CNN, ABC, cBS, NBC
, MSNBC, the New York Times, the Washington Post (PPP), the Atlantic, the Boston Herald. The objection to these
entities is not that they lean Left, not
at all. Rather, that they serve as lapdogs for their
president.
Gallup is Left leaning, but is used on this blog. Ditto PEW Research. Quinnipiac (to a lesser degree), and, more so than any other polling
firm, Rasmussen.
Understand that if the enemy polls a
segment of the population, that survey
is worthless. As an example, the evening
before the Dole/Clinton election, NBC
had Dole 21 points behind. He actually
lost the election by 8% of the vote. One
wonders just how close that election might have been if we had not been forced to listen
to one phony survey after another, prior
to the election.
Take it to the bank, figures don’t lie, but liars often figure.
There is no political equivalency on
this, either. Republicans are not as much liars
as are Democrats, contrary to the
reporting of Greta and the pompass Bill O’Reilly.
Understand that the Left lies as a matter of policy; it is an aspect of their strategy. The fact that Rules for Radicals, a guide
to domestic revolution, is still in
print after it was first published in 1971 and is the handbook for the
Left, is proof of my point. After the first chapter of the book, titled “Purpose,” as in “the purpose for the book,” the next essay is titled “of
means and ends.” Alinsky begins with this chapter because it is the first general rule of societal revolution - begin with an lie and make it seem to be the truth.
Indeed, many on the Left believe
in the doctrine that teaches “the ends justify the means,” and this Saul Alinsky chapter explains and
defends this loser policy. Obama learned
from this book and Hillary actually was an intern for Alinsky, back in her college days.
When a political entity quantifies deceit and qualifies it as a desired strategy, that group cannot and must not be trusted for anything.
