The 40 Days for Life campaign is firmly rooted on a foundation of prayer and fasting. To help maintain focus on the Lord and stay in tune with His guidance, we have prepared a series of daily devotionals — one for each of the 40 days of the spring 2012 campaign.

If you want to live in a nation where abortion is illegal because of religious imperatives in a theocracy, I suggest Iran or Saudi Arabia. You actually have a lot in common with the Taliban that has also made abortion illegal.

To imagine my attack against 1.4 million murders each year makes me equivalent to being a member of the Taliban . . . . I mean, is that what you are saying? I want to live in a nation where the unborn child is protected life. I do not care how we get there, ideologically.
