Here is copy from Rasmussen; a page I go to every day. It proves that nothing Obama is doing is helping his cause.

You are looking at two sets of numbers. "strongly approve/disapprove" and "total approve/total disapprove." One year ago, the "total approve/total disapprove" was the same - no change. But, as relates to "strongly approve/disapprove," there is a significant downward trend. In September of 2010, the "strongly approve" survey numbers stood at or around 29%. Today, and in general, the range is 19% to 22% with 23 and 18 being the high and low of the most recent period of time. Understand that it is this grouping of voters that work for the candidates involved. A review of the larger chart, found here, reveals that a 40% average as to "strongly approve" lasted only through March 6th of 2009. Obama was inaugurated on January 20th !!

What can we conclude: that his recent rhetorical strategies ("Pass this now," "Pass all of this bill," and "I can't wait") are simply not working.

As relates to Herman Cain, Rasmussen has the newbie sitting at 33% and Romney at 23% in South Carolina. This Rasmussen survey was taken two days into the Cain "scandal."

If my opinion is representative of a segment of the conservatives population, and it is (just ask members of my family), I care about how Herman Cain will fare against Obama in a head-to-head debate. We will have a definitive answer to that question after this coming weekend. Cain will debate Newt Gingrich in a bare-knuckle, Douglas/Lincoln style debate on Saturday, this Saturday. This was set up more than a week ago and I am assuming that this debate is still on schedule.
