A brief summary reads:
Cheering Economic Terrorism – SEIU Getting Ready to ‘Terrify’ DC: Stephen Lerner at SEIU Meeting Outlines Rules for Creating a Crisis — We Want Their Kids to Hate Them, Name Enemies Like Glenn Beck, Shut Down Bridges, Long Occupations, Recruit Tea Party
m
Understand that the SEIU supports the Wall Street rebellion and has join the national anti-capitalist campaign along with the AFL-CIO. In the Democrat Party, we are no longer talking about the "democratic process." Rather, we are witnessing homeland terrorism by those groups who support and drive the "new" Democrat Party.

Here is a demonstrator, talking to Al Sharpton on MSNBC as he frames the national demonstrations under way:

Did you catch it? He is saying: This Is revolution, not "reform." We Are Anarchists and Revolutionaries. This Is the Beginning of a Revolution in This Country.
Don't expect Obama to say one word in disagreement with this statement. And here is the reason why. And the answer is . . . . . .Think about this: what happens if Obama and the Socialist Democrats are swept out of office in 2012?
While some people are worried about birth certificates and how to make sure that hedge fund managers don't pay as high a percentage in taxes as a carpenter, there are people out there who care about what's truly not working in America. And they are growing more pissed every day. Obama didn't create this. Bush and Cheney, the Tea Party, Bank of America created this. Its called class consciousness. Read your Marx.
ReplyDeleteThese people are not uneducated dolts. They are underemployed, well educated people with nothing to lose. You should be scared.
We were here first, dude. Take your socialism over seas where it came from.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, the TEA party movement did not exist before 2009. Bank of America had nothing to do with the current economic crisis and your side is not nearly as pissed as is ours. YOU can read Marx. I will stick with the federalist papers.
As far as these punk kids demonstrating in whatever city, are concerned, they know nothing of this nation's history.
The so-called "rich" are in the 35% tax bracket and, after deductions, still pay 23% of there income to the Feds. That is a fact.
Here are a few more facts, you knot-head: the top 25% of wage earners pay a full 86% of all federal taxes. Move that down a notch, and you have the top 50% of all wage earners paying 97.3% of all federal taxes. The free-loaders marching in our cities, the bunch that is screaming for others to "pay their fair share," that bunch pays 2.7% of all Federal income taxes plus they collect on all of the food stamp money, all of the welfare money, all of the free medical funds available, all of the free daycare services Their population uses most of the police and fire services and their kids, --- this bunch of wiz kids you talk about -- do not finish high school.
I debate these clowns daily and nothing is easier, than matching wits with these Marxist punks. Seriously. Look at our discussions. You are good for making claims and accusations, but you are weak on facts and you never comeback on me when I take time to detail an argument. In fact, I have never had a liberal hang with me in a discussion. They always give me a first shot and then hit the road.
My first question for you is where the hell were you when Bush and Cheney and the liar of all liars Colin Powell were launching the war in Iraq? Where were the facts then? I'd put money on your ass out waiving the freaking flag looking to hang anyone brown.
ReplyDeleteLook dude, the world is changing. Its not black and white anymore. Its not socialist and capitalist. We have to take the good and throw out the bad. The baby boomers had their chance and they fucked it up BIG TIME.
The fact is that our economic system is broken, our health care system is broken and someone is getting awfully rich while many people with masters degrees can't find a damn job not to mention the people with college degrees. These aren't high school dropouts you idiot, people with masters and PHDs working as fucking gardeners. You live in California so I'm sure you see plenty of them. California has a high rate of highly educated under-employed.
I don't advocate taxing millionaires. I only advocate that stock market speculators and hedge fund managers pay their 35% like anyone else in their tax bracket who actually make something or had an idea to make something.
And socialized medicine is the only solution out there. All other solutions are failures. Europe isn't failing because of socialized medicine. They are failing because of overextended pension promises.
By the time its all sorted out the baby boomers will all be drooling and forgotten in nursing homes and we can all live a better life. Your generation started this bullshit and I doubt you'll be around to see any of the good that will happen once your all safely drooling.

ReplyDeleteWhere was I when Bush and crew came into power? This will sound strange to a Lefty, but I was busy working 80 hours a week - like most guys I knew at the time. Same place I was back in the 80's and 90's. I had to sit around and listen to a Marxist Media, the only media we had at the time, ridicule those of us who kept asking, "How can you keep on spending without ever balancing the books." So, now, here we are.
ReplyDeleteYou can go straight to hell if you think you are going to move away from our founding principles without a fight -- and I do mean a fight, not an argument. Your side has no regard for law, because us old guys passed those laws, I guess. Well, we still know how to kick ass, and that is what is about to happen. We will win at the ballot box and if you degenerates take it to the streets, we will meet you there.
Where was I? Trying to have a discussion about things. Instead, what did we get. A bunch of whiners telling us to butt out. It is your side that wants to keep the classroom closed to parents. It is your side that wants to change their sex by playing dress-up and pretending that that is normal.
"I have a degree and can't find a job." Sob sob. You think that just started happening? That has been going as long as I can remember.
Guess who told Bush about WMD's. Got any idea, Slick? Of course not. It came from your pal, Bill Clinton. He is the one who told Bush about those things. Clinton's CIA director, George Tenet, was left as director of the CIA BECAUSE G.W. believed what Clinton and Tenet were telling him. Plus, Saddam was telling the world that he had WMD's. That is why we went to Iraq.
Baby boomers "f . . ed things up?" Only the half that fell in love with Mao and Marxist. They were the free loafers, the druggies, the anti-Americans of the day. So you are half right. And now, they are running the Democrat Party. These idiots actually believe that you can spend your way out of debt. So, how smart is that?
Listen to you. do you have any idea just how much money will be available via taxing the rich versus our annual debt? Of course you don't Just blow and go.
Macroeconomics was not the creation of the Boomers. And it is macroeconomics that is the problem and macroeconomics was invented back in the 1930' by guess who . . . . the stinking progressives, dude. We have been spending more than we earn - in a big way - for 7 decades (a decade is 10 years, btw). You can't spend 40% more than you take in and not have the problems of today. But how do you morons deal with the problem? Easy, spend more than you take in. Spend more than you take in ON PURPOSE and then blame it on the bankers. You cannot possibly sound more stupid than that.
I am not against "socialized medicine." What does that have to do with the idiocy of ObamaCare. Remember, it is your leader who said, "We have to pass the bill so that we can see what's in the bill." Genius !!
It is not the economic system that is broken, you moron. It is a brain dead Obama, with absolutely no experience, trying force government into the equation.
Do we need to fix health dare? Of course, but Obama just messed it up, even more. You are spot on about the pensions, but who is running the Days of Rage. The freaking unions with their pension programs. Geeeeesh.
I have to apologize for making assumptions and throwing out insults. You started making assumptions about me and throwing insults at me and I took the bait and came back at you with more of the same. I'm not normally like that.
ReplyDeleteI stumbled on your blog looking for another perspective on "Obamacare" and I found it. I engaged you in some debate and I feel like I have learned a lot by reading your blog and exchanging comments with you. I do have a problem with some of your conspiracy theory posts, but I think a lot of what you write is informative.
A little bit about me. My name is Paul as you know and I live in Chicago (a democratic bubble to say the least) and have lived in various places in Illinois my whole life. I am very familiar with political corruption. I have been surrounded by it my entire life and it has almost always come from Democrats. My political beliefs lean left. If I had to pick a term that describes my beliefs it would be Libertarian Socialism. I voted for Obama but I am very disillusioned with him. I am 36 and I have a job that I've had for 9 years. I'm not whining about trying to find a job.
I don't particularly like "Obamacare" but I think it is an improvement over our current system. I have no problem with Capitalism but our current economy is so far from Capitalism that its unrecognizable. Rick Perry has been going on about social security being a ponzi scheme but how can that even compare to the stock market?
I think we are much closer in ideals than you think we are. We may see a different way to get there but I think we want the same things. I don't what to think about the Occupy Wallstreet movement yet. I like that people want to get involved and learn more about what is happening in this country but I don't necessarily agree with the way its happening.
While I am disillusioned by Obama and think he's making a lot of bad decisions and has continued most of the bad policies of Bush, when I look at the Republican field I can't see any new ideas coming from these folks. Cain and Paul seem to be the only ones with ACTUAL plans but they have huge holes in them. Romney may not be very scary to me but its only because he doesn't really seem to be about anything but business as usual.
I don't want to fight with you dude. You seem like a decent guy who cares about America and I respect that but I reserve the right to bust your balls when I read something outrageous.
Peace
PS. I have never written anything about taxing the rich. I have only advocated closing tax loopholes like capital gains and carried-interest. I think Obama did this country a huge disservice by extending the Bush tax cuts. He should have let them expire and come up with an alternative.
Well, I had decided that you were like the other young gun liberals I have had to deal with. Your last post was most encouraging.
ReplyDeleteIf you missed it, and I hope you did, my response post ("Where was I when bush . . . ) was written when I was angry. While my points in that posting were representative, it had language that was over the top. In fact, I took it down, yesterday, and omitted the really bad stuff (upon "request" of my wife, if you know what I mean)and re-posted. A meager attempt at civility, to be sure, but it was an effort, just the same.
I can handle ball busting. Allow the same "back at you."
Look, I think it is safe to say that neither of us can complain about the divide in Washington if we, the two of us, refuse to make the effort of allowing the other point of view.
My response, the one I rewrote, part of the reason for my anger had to do with my disappointment in your response. Now, I am not saying that my angry was your fault, but I am saying that I was disappointed in realizing that you were just another Lefty with no respect for my opinion. You could say the same about me, and I would have to admit to your complaint.
You wrote this: "I think we are much closer in ideals than you think we are." Your post above gives me the sense that you are correct. Very encouraging.
I will take time to commit in more detail, but I am glad that you are not as "typical" as I was thinking.
By the way, if you did not get the point of my "apology," well, there you have it, I just used the "a" word. That's about as good as it gets from me.
Thanks for your most recent post.
