Newt, the man beneath the brain

Here is Newt presenting his new "contract with America." I am sure it is exceptional, but that is not the reason for this post. In fact, the "point of post" is not a noble one, not at all.

I have watched all of the GOP debates. Very interesting.

I have moved away from Ron Paul and am closing the door on Perry. Cain may not have the horsepower to get nominated, but he is a fine man, an exceptionally qualified business man. Romney has good answers but may be more the Establishment Man than I really want - but I would vote for him.

And then there is Newt. I have a couple of probs with this man. First, I do not think he is as much a TEA party fellow and many think. But more than that, and here is the ignoble aspect of my comment, the man has no sense of humor.

That's it. I will vote for him but he is hardly a fun guy. Are the more serious types better presidents? Not sure I believe that . . . . . but is this super serious fellow, one who cannot take a joke? If so, he may be one who lets his mouth over-ride his alliances. He has already scolded the questioning panel twice. We do not need Daddy Newt, we need Mr Manners as the real man beneath the brain. One thing for sure, I will let the "scandal" go should he win the nomination.
