How serious is Obama when he just added billions to the national debt via his unilateral action on student aid?

Think about this as you keep in mind the workings of America's first dictator.

Billions will be added to the national debt over the course of the next ten years via Obama's student loan program as he unilaterally institutes as program that will pay for most of the educational bill of our college youth.
  1. The program reduces the total monthly payment from 15% of your income to 10%.
  2. But you "pay as you earn," which allows the graduate to pay nothing, in certain situations.
  3. After 20 years, the portion of the debt remaining will be forgiven, even if the student is making hundreds of thousands a month.

This is what happens when you someone off the streets, an idealist who has no understanding about business or 'balanced budgets," has something to say about governance. No, I am not talking about someone from Occupy. I am talking about the clown in our White House.

Understand that in a survey released this morning, 66% of Americans believe that college students should pay their college debt, like the rest of us were required to do. But, then, maybe their parents didn't and have passed this tradition on to their children.

  1. You seem to have forgotten Dictator Bush. The master manipulator that started a war based on lies and deception, then decided that torture was was ok in certain situations as well as spying on American citizens. The laundry list of traitorous crimes is quite long. You also seem to forget that when you were in college the wealthiest Americans was over 70% which paid for most of your college education if you went to a state school. Now if you go to a state school who are an indentured servant to your student loans with upwards of $100000 in debt. And guess what?! You can expect to make the same amount of money as your parents but you paid 200%-300% for the same education.

Top tax bracket in 1970 paid 70% on income. 2011 they pay 35%. Why is America going broke? Is it because we spend too much? YES! Is it because high income brackets pay less taxes and pocket the money instead of investing in business? YES!

The class war is over. The rich won! There is some cynical doom and gloom for you.

  2. The federal government collected 21% more revenues in 2010 than in 2009.

The vote to go to war was nearly unanimous.

The "lies" you speak of came from Saddam, Bill Clinton and George Tenet (Clinton's CIA director).

Bush never sought to install his legislative agenda circumventing Congress. In fact, Obama is our first dictator, a childish man who has not even tried to negotiate solutions. HE decides what is bi-partisan apart from negotiations and diplomacy.

  3. For someone so cynical you sure have a lot of faith in George, Dick and Gordon. If you believe that Bush believed that Saddam had WMDs you are a lot more naive and idealistic than you present yourself.

You also seem to have conveniently forgotten Bush suspending the Geneva conventions and sanctioning wire taps and torture without the approval of Congress. If I recall correctly Bush pretty much suspended the personal rights and freedoms in order to "protect the country." I believe this was a favorite practice of dictators like Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini.

Comparing Obama's dance around the law to Bush's circumnavigation is a lot like comparing Bush torturing American citizens to Clinton getting a blow job in the White House. I'm not saying that Obama and Clinton are ready to be canonized but when you compare the negative crap, Bush skirted the line between treason and patriotism more than any President since Nixon. Although Reagan should get a little mention here for selling guns to Iran. That was a pretty good one too. Can you remember a President who didn't use executive power to circumvent congress?
