Reality is what happens to you when you are wrong. Obama is fixing to learn this lesson in spades.

Unemployment is 8/8%, right? Not according to Gallup. And what is worse news is the fact that there does not seem to be any linear progression from unemployment to full employment.

PRINCETON, NJ -- Unemployment, as measured by Gallup without seasonal adjustment, was 10.0% in March -- down from 10.2% in mid-March and 10.3% at the end of February, but above the 9.8% at the end of January. U.S. unemployment was 10.4% at the end of March a year ago.

Gallup's U.S. Unemployment Rate, January 2010-March 2011

Annual deficit of 1.65 trillion dollars, that's real, right? Aaaaah, not exactly. If the Government (and we are not just talking about the Obama Administration) had to use the same accounting methodology required of Wall Street (the accrual method), our deficit for 2011 would be over 2 trillion dollars. Our Government uses the cash in/cash out method of accounting and as a result, Medicaid, for example, has an unfunded liability of 38 trillion dollars. We don't count that as debt until we actually pay on that total. Wall Street plays games but so does Obama and Company.

Well, at least there is no inflation, correct? aaammmmmmmmmm, no !! The reason inflation is set at around a point and a half is due to the fact that no one counts the increase of oil, transportation fuels, home heating supplies, and the increase in food costs. We used to count these things, but no more. So, if you don't drive or eat, inflation is zero and you are probably a Democrat. Note this: there is a story out there that puts inflation at 10% . There are problems with that story and we have not included its "facts" in our story. In the end, we are not being told the truth as relates to inflation. That is the point of our report.

Point of post: few things are what they seem. This is why the blogosphere is so very important. Sorting through the misstatements and lies is a serious problem and finding editors who will search for the truth is critical. I spend 5 to 12 hours a day reading and verifying. I'd rather be riding my 1800 vtx but the nation's health and history is far more important.

My brother, 21 years older than me, landed at Normandy on June 6 of 1944 (D Day) . He died in 1987 but would have hated where we have gone in the last few years, especially under the socialist reign of Obama. So I join the fight because of him. He was 1st Army and in the Corp of Engineers. He fought through France and into Germany and was one of only three survivors in his company. Me? I sat on my fat butt until three years ago. He is the hero. I am the shadow of his memory, but I am not going away. And I am part of millions who understand the seriousness of the current assault and blog with a stronger sense of profundity than I. But I is what I is.

Understand that it was the Boomer generation that started all this Marxist crap. And it will be the Boomer generation that will help to end it.
