The bottom has fallen out of the Obama silent coup.

In a recent Battleground Poll out of George Washington University, Obama scored behind the Republicans on two very important issues: the economy and creating jobs. On the former the percentages were 49% to 41% favoring the GOP; regarding the latter, we have 51% to 40 , again, favoring the GOP. Perhaps the most startling of all the findings was the polling fact that 80% said they received their news from cable sources with FoxNews being more popular than CNN, MSNBC AND HLN combined.

In the same poll, we have only 38% believing Obama deserves reelection, 44% would definitely vote to replace him and another 13% are seriously consideration his replacement.

The poll is a disaster for the Obama organization. On Wednesday, he is planning the largest political gathering since the campaign of 2008.

Small time Midknight Review, that would be this blog, believes that as things stand today, if the presidential election were held this weekend, Obama would see 75 to 79 million votes against him. Let's not forget that he spent a record $770 million dollars to win an election by 7% or by a total of 69.6 million votes.
