We say that Obama's electability has always been tied to his policies. Surprised ??

Editor's notes: In a November 5, 2008 review of the presidential elections, we have this statement that has great value, two years later:

From PEW Research: "Despite Obama's strong personal appeal, his supporters overwhelmingly say they favored him based on his issue positions (68%), not his leadership and personal qualities (30%)." READ THE FULL REVIEW HERE. >>>>>

And therein is the problem. Since becoming president, he has taken positions in opposition to the will of the people at every turn. 70% of the people did not want the Stimulus, the spring Omnibus bill, the healthcare bill as written, cap and trade, and, most recently, the NY mosque. The people expected a coherent foreign policy, comprehensive in scope and representative of the interests of America. He has not delivered. The American people do not agree with his support of Islam, the Palestinian Authority, his war on terror, nor his selections of Supreme Court judges -- and the list goes on, of course.

Point of post: It appears that Obama thinks personal likability will make the day for him and his cronies come the midterms and 2012, We think they are in for a rude awakening. PEW gives us reason to think we are on the right track.
