Ahhhhh, there he goes again. The Novice bows to Arabs and Oriental guys. None of them bow in return which means . . . . . . . . maybe "bowing" is not a part of the mating game ????? Just taking a guess.
What is most amazing about Obama is the fact that he seems to relish the idea of being a novice.
But, of course, maybe bowing to the President of Communist China is the best strategy. They have a much bigger military than we do. They have not agreed to a nuclear proliferation freeze. And they own nearly a trillion dollars of our debt. Maybe bowing is not enough. Seems like Obama is best at doing the "bow and scrape" maneuver. Too bad he can't dance.
Tuesday morning update (4/13/10): and what was accomplished with this conference on nuclear proliferation? Nothing. Lots of words and some really great national televised time for Obama and then, well, that is about all. China agreed to nothing except to return in two years. Hmmmm. Two years ?? That would be 2012 - Presidential election year. Understand that this conference is much more about nailing down Obama's re-election strategy than anything else.
When all the talk and bluster is done, Obama is going to be the THE American President who allowed Iran a nuclear bomb, China to continue its military build-up, and Venezuela's Hugo Chavez to become the dominant military power in South America and partner with Russia. THAT is going to be his legacy.
We hope that our next President will have an understanding of just how important these negatives are.
