Midknight Review's theory relating to Congressional Dysfunction

"No Erectile Dysfunction Drugs To Sex Offenders" -- an amendment to the reconciliation bill being debated in the Senate that would keep child molesters, rapists, and sex offenders from getting erectile dysfunction medication from their health care providers.

Sounds a bit more than reasonable, right? But the Dems are going to vote against this amendment. Understand that the health care bill passed into law this past Sunday, contains legal direction for convicted sex offenders of all types be given medication such as Viagra. Nancy Pelosi approved this legal order and someone bearing the label, Progressive Marxist Socialist Liberal, actually wrote this opinion into law.

Stupid. In fact "stupid" really doesn't catch what this editor has in mind -- words actually fail at this point.

We are thinking, perhaps, that no one can be this stupid without having been biologically programed for this deficiency. They must have been born stupid. We know that in such cases (people who are born stupid), you can teach them all that you know and after it is said and done, they remain stupid.

Example #1 is the anonymous lawmaker who wrote the Viagra clause into the reform bill.

Example #2 takes us back to the days of Bill Clinton and his claim that "I did not inhale." Here, we have Stupid by Birth as the best explanation for those who believed this explanation.

Example #3 is one of two Obama examples. In this case, we have Obama telling Bret Baier flat out that "the Nebraska deal is not in the bill." Turns out that was never true. The fix IS in the bill and is not corrected in the reconciliation bill. Stupid by Birth ?? Either that or he was simply lying.

Example #4 is a another Obama example: "If everyone aired up their tires to the proper pressure, we could save enough fuel to offset our dependency on Middle East oil." Here, we have no alternative but to think "Stupid by Birth." Add to this example, if you will, the term "shovel ready jobs" and you have given "Stupid by Birth" yet, another example.
