Data released Tuesday show CNN shedding 48 percent of total viewers since last November and MSNBC dropping 45 percent.    The numbers were even worse in the all important demographic of people aged 25 to 54 as CNN's ratings dropped 59 percent and MSNBC's 52 percent . . . . . Fox News didn't see close to these losses. In total day, FNC is only down 18 percent since last November and 30 percent in the demo  . . . . .  CNN was off 54 percent in total viewers and 62 percent in the demo. MSNBC declined 50 percent in total prime time viewers and 57 percent in the demo.    By contrast, FNC was second in all of cable [whether news or entertainment programming - blog editor]  in prime time this November averaging over 2 million viewers. This represented a decline of 21 percent in total viewers and 41 percent in the demo.

Editor's notes:  Understand that in an off year election cycle in which the presidency is not being decided,  lower viewer numbers are to be expected. 

Couple what is "expected" with a disturbing one track news cycle,  and you have a situation in which Americans are simply not interested in the "news" of the day.  When I write "one track news cycle,"  I refer to the absence of anything news worthy other than the single but comprehensive Administration strategy of deceit that has been the case, exclusively,  since the 2012 November elections.   

Further,  when CNN and MSNBC fail to cover stories detrimental to the advancement of progressive/socialist policy,  the viewership tends to either turn off the "tube,"  or switch to Fox for that news.  Understand that while Fox might be airing a segment on the truth concerning Benghazi or the documented and admitted lies told with regard to ObamaCare,  CNN runs stories on how to prepare a fat free evening meal and MSNBC is talking about pooping down Sarah Palin's throat.  

What would you do with such choices?  The answer is clear,  and the libs are paying the price for such nonsense.  The one good thing about this circumstance is this:  reduced viewership means a sharply reduced ability to pollute the news with distortions and misinformation;  I mean,  no one is watching so where has "their" influence gone?

Common Care - the role it plays as part of the Progressive/Socialists agenda over the course of the next 50 year.

Proponents of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) often insist that the new standards are not a federal takeover of education. Actually, Common Core supporters could be right in one sense: Common Core is not so much about a nationalization of education as it is part of a world-wide initiative that may ultimately serve to make American values and practices secondary to global sharing.

Writing at Crisis Magazine, journalist Mary Jo Anderson asserts that Common Core is nothing less than the latest attempt by the U.N. to impose on the United States a globalist perspective with the utopian goals of worldwide peace, environmental sustainability, and economic fairness. In that context, Common Core is part of the Obama administration’s “transformational” education plan that places emphasis on global relationships rather than a unique American culture.

It is commonly known that Common Core is being financed with more than $150 million from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. In addition, the Gates Foundation has collaborated with the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

In 2004, Gates’ Microsoft Corporation signed a Cooperation Agreement with UNESCO to develop a “master curriculum” which would include benchmarks and a testing program. According to the agreement, “UNESCO will explore how to facilitate content development.”

In the Agreement, UNESCO maps out its intention to establish “Knowledge Communities,” which it defines as “web-based communities of practice in UNESCO’s fields.” The goal is to create, through Information and Communication Technology (ICT) throughout the globe, communities without borders, in a sense, so that all students around the world are learning similar content and sharing knowledge. As many Americans are aware, Common Core relies heavily upon increased broadband width. Editor's notes: Two of my daughters are school teachers,  one is in elementary education and the other is a high school math teacher.  Neither see Common Core as being the "devil's ally" that so many on the Right seem to believe. 

By contrast, however, Breitbart's reporting appears to use qualified sources and speaks of serious (as in "real") concerns.  Whatever the case,  as an editor of this small time blog,  I cannot offer a qualified and comprehensive  opinion, as of yet.  Both daughters do not believe their autonomy as a classroom teacher is being usurpt by Common Core.

What I can say,  at this time,  is this:  It may be the case that AT THIS TIME,  Common Core is not the problem many fear, BUT,  as an extension of the U.N.'s  borderless politic,  [perhaps] the foundation is being laid for a much more aggressive application in the years to come  . . . .   In fact,  I rather think this is the case.  

There is no doubt that the Left has taken major strides over the past several decades,  in its march to the goal of State sponsored control of our youth.  As parents,  many of you cannot sit in a public school classroom to analyze instructional techniques and content.  In many school settings,  it is illegal to record class instruction.  In most if not all school districts,  text book content is written and approved by "politically minded educational personnel" from outside the particular region and far removed from parental review and approval.  THAT has already happened and such goes to the historic curve documenting the move away from local and state control and into a solitary educational model  that is anti-religious,  anti-true science,  anti-family and pro-central governance.   

Again,  that is already the case.  There is reason to believe, therefore,  that Common Core is a process that will continue the advancement of Central Planning and the Utopian minded Progressive/Socialists work to develop a cultural mystic that benefits the larger society.  Certainly,  it does not work against central planning and the continued depletion of Constitutional authority, liberties and values. 

One would think that an inept magistrate would eventually sit down and shut up, but with the new Irainian "peace at any price" deal, the hits just keep on coming.

About yesterday’s “deal” with Iran: In short, it was nothing more than a slap in the face to Israel and a demonstrative show of contempt for all who seek peace in the Middle East.   

It is a six month agreement that allows Iran to continue making and spinning its nuclear centrifuge arsenal while giving that country reprieve on 8 billion dollars previously tied up by a policy of harsh sanctions.  "They" get eight billion dollars of relief  and the right to continue with their nuclear program as the two sides negotiate for a substantive agreement to be signed six months from now, and,  we get . . . . . . . . . .  nothing.  That is the heart and soul of this "historic deal."   

The NY Times gives us this exerpted summary.  As you read, make note of the implicit criticism embedded in this excerpt and in the larger article:    

But it . . . . . .  reflects a broader scaling-back of the use of American muscle, not least in the Middle East, as well as a willingness to deal with foreign governments as they are rather than to push for new leaders that better embody American values. “Regime change,” in Iran or even Syria, is out; cutting deals with former adversaries is in.

 For Mr. Obama, the shift to diplomacy fulfills a campaign pledge from 2008 that he would stretch out a hand to America’s enemies and speak to any foreign leader without preconditions. But it will also subject him to considerable political risks, as the protests about the Iran deal from Capitol Hill and allies in the Middle East attest.

Editor's notes:  As an aside,  I think it noteworthy that the Times writer never refers to Obama as “President Obama,”  only “Mr. Obama.” 

Understand that the “scaling back  . . . .  of American muscle” is tantamount to the use of the American presidency to destroy American’s once imposing influence in this wicked world.  

“Peace from power” is a long held principle Hussein Obama has rejected,  in spite of the fact that this is his operating M.O. as to domestic policy.  Here,  at home,  he functions as a biased and narrow minded Chicago thug,  but in the outside world,  and especially the Muslim world,  he is hell bent on following a path of creating trust as he precedes with a diplomatic “policy” of  unilateral concessions to the exclusion of all who have reason to oppose his imperialist and Utopian decisions. 

Understand that he has been secretly working on this deal for nearly a year,  proving his claim that “all option are on the table" to have been a lie with regard to Syria and his feigned concern about the “red line” and the use of poisoned gases and the massacre of 160,000 Syrian citizens by forces populated,  in part,  by Iran. 

 He is so far out of step with many of his Democrat allies on this deal,  that he may have lost any influence he may have had left within his Progressive/Socialist collective.  Look for a publicly viewed backlash in the coming days from members of his own party.   

After secret negotiation for nearly year,  we find ourselves asking,  “Why now?”  and the answer is clear: To get ObamaCare off the front page.   

Apparently,  he does not understand the extent of the ObamaCare failing.  Because of his several postponements and the systemic nature of this legislative debachle,  he has guaranteed that his legacy legislation,  an appropriate failure,  will be a hot-blooded campaign issue for both 2014 and 2016.  This treaty,  with no diplomatic or military muscle written into its text,  will be another failure in the resume of this Presidential Boob and will serve as another anecdotal reminder of his pronounced ineptitude as a national and world leader. 

While good news for those who thirst for more ammunition to fire at this Professional Novice,  it casts serious doubt on the future of Israel and its ability to survive in a world bent on its total annihilation.  Suffice it to say,  this will be the news in the short term.  

The fear,  on the Left,  is that this deal might open the door to war in the Middle East,  an potential eventuality that will be laid at the feet of this presidential blowhard.  All we can do is hope for the best,  on that score. 

It's official: Most of us (as in "U.S.") think he is a dufus.

CNN Poll: 53% of Americans Don’t Think Obama Is “Honest And Trustworthy”…

Washington (CNN) - Only four out of 10 Americans believe President Barack Obama can manage the federal government effectively, according to a new national poll.

And a CNN/ORC International survey released Monday morning also indicates that 53% of Americans now believe that Obama is not honest and trustworthy, the first time that a clear majority in CNN polling has felt that way. . . . . . .  

Obama faces Congressional rejection from members of his own party, in this "historic deal" with murderous regime in Iran.

Sunday,  I made comment on the so-called "peace treaty" with Iran,  saying simply, "Ain't going to happen."  And then we there was a report of a "historic deal" made between Kerry/Obama and the Iranians.  Was I wrong?   

Well,  I continue to believe that there will be no treaty. This Administration,  the Obama Administration,  is replete with those who are full of themselves,  willing to act apart from protocol or congressional support.  This "treaty process" is an example of the end game produced by the most arrogant among us.  The treaty is as bad an agreement as has ever been made.  The Kerry/Obama braintrust  (yes,  I am laughing as I write) has chosen to ignore Israel in this process,  working to make a deal with Iran without Israel's advice and consent.  But,  more than this,  it has chosen to ignore the advice of many within the Socialist Democrat Party.  

Case in point:  Charles Schumer of New York.  Understand that there is no more powerful a Senator than Schumer,  and his constituency includes a large Jewish population  . . . . .   and Charles is not happy.  

In my prep for this blog,  I have found almost zero congressional support for what this Administration is doing with regard to this treaty.  The following comes out of NewsMax and makes my point better than I can.  

Know this before you read:  Iran has announced the end of serious sanctions because of this treaty (which the Administration is denying) and has warned against further sanctions on threat of backing out of their agreement with Kerry/Obama.  Also know that Schumer is dead on in describing the systemic failure of this agreement.  

Obama has no more political cashe.  He lied his way back into office and,  in that effort,  has created a firestorm of negative public sentiment for the Democrat Party.  It can not afford a single additional headline that pits the Democrat Party against the will of the informed.  As a result,  Schumer speaks for the Democrat Party in his opposition to what is happening between Obama and Iran.  

The treaty is worthless,  and, if Congress increases sanctions, even before it votes on the treaty, itself,   it will be both a rejection of this treaty and another embarrassing  slap in the face to the Ignorants populating the Obama Regime.

From NewsMax:  . . . . .   Sen. Charles E. Schumer of New York said he was disappointed in the interim deal reached in Geneva regarding Iran’s nuclear program, saying "it does not seem proportional" because "Iran simply freezes its nuclear capabilities while we reduce the sanctions."

Schumer released the following statement on the deal regarding Iran's nuclear program:     "I am disappointed by the terms of the agreement between Iran and the P5+1 nations because it does not seem proportional. Iran simply freezes its nuclear capabilities while we reduce the sanctions.

"It was strong sanctions, not the goodness of the hearts of the Iranian leaders, that brought Iran to the table, and any reduction relieves the psychological pressure of future sanctions and gives them hope that they will be able to gain nuclear weapon capability while further sanctions are reduced. A fairer agreement would have coupled a reduction in sanctions with a proportionate reduction in Iranian nuclear capability.

"The goal of the administration is to eliminate all of Iran’s nuclear weapons-making capability by the end of the final negations; it is still my hope they can achieve that goal.

"As for additional sanctions, this disproportionality of this agreement makes it more likely that Democrats and Republicans will join together and pass additional sanctions when we return in December. I intend to discuss that possibility with my colleagues."

Peace treaty with Iran? Ain't going to happen. Just talk and nothing more.

Breitbart.com is reporting:  Obama reiterated that he was “determined” to prevent Iran from going nuclear, mentioning that his administration presided over “unprecedented” sanctions, despite the fact that his administration is now loosening those sanctions in exchange for precisely nothing. Nonetheless, Obama, looking somewhat nervous as he glanced at his teleprompters on left and right, stated that the west would now have the opportunity to verify that the Iranian nuclear program was “peaceful,” stating that the deal would mean that “parts” of the program would be halted.

According to Obama, Iran would now be prevented from creating the next generation of centrifuges, and would be expected to halt its plutonium reactor work; inspections, Obama stated, would be plentiful. But he added that this planning would “limit” – not stop – the path to a nuclear weapon.

Editor’s notes:  Obama has sat on his hands from day one,  with regard to Iran.  During that time,  this rogue nation,  a threat not only to Israel and the US, but all of the Middle East, has increased the number of centrifuges in its arsenal from 5,000 to 16,000;  20,000 are needed to build a bomb.  While Obama touts his “sanctions,”  and they are harsh, they have not limited Iran’s military intentions to any degree.  In other words,  Obama has failed in this effort,  and failed miserably.  Leadership "from behind" is a fool's concept,  and each day,  in every way,  this proven to be true. 

Keep in mind,  this would-be treatise has to be approved in the Senate.  It is my impression that, as things stand today,  that is not going to happen  . . . . . .  just a lot of talk  hoping to change the subject and move away from the daily news and the mess Obama has created in ObamaCare.  

The major Media is fooling no one. Anarchy is a strategy of the Left and exclusively so.

From Breitbart:  On the 50th anniversary of the JFK assassination, a San Francisco Chronicle contributor finds the real culprit: "right-wingers who despised Kennedy" in Texas, whose descendants, "the Tea Party Nation," "seethe with vitriol" against Obama.

In a Chronicle column Friday titled "JFK Assassination Reshaped Politics of the Right," Lawrence Rosenthal writes that the assassination of President Kennedy chimed in a "coming of age" for the American right . . . . .

Editor’s notes:  the problem with this line of “reasoning” is this:  the radicals in the 1960’s were all members of the Democrat Party.  I know,  I was there and in college. And the collegiate liberals were all Commies, Maoists, pot smoking free love types who hated the Establishment and championed the mantra,  "Challenge authority."    If "they"  were the forerunners of anything,  it would be Occupy, the violent Environmental Militants,  the national unions and their thugs, and,  the anarchists in Congress who function without a reverence for law and order,  choosing which rules they will obey and which rules no longer please them. The GOP,  with all of its faults,  has nothing similar to the anarchy seen in the ranks of the Leftists.  You should know that social unrest/violence/lawlessness is a trade mark of Marxism.  

Teaparty constituencies across the nation are non-violent,  stand up against any acts of prejudice (something that plagues both parties, but is never challenged in the Progressive Democrat Party of today), honors our flag and our founding traditions.  To imagine that this is "radical" to a socialist/progressive Democrat is disturbing,  to say the least.     

Lies and deceit won Obama a second term.  Is that a sign of the times,  a Progressive election strategy that will work well into the future,  or, will the American voter finally see through the racist hyperbole of the Socialist Democrats and give them their walking papers? 

Time will tell.  Suffice it to say,  we are in the throws an Anarchic Rule never before seen in this nation.  

Obama's fantasy that he knows better that all other leaders in this country or in the world, is being challenged by nearly every Arab nation in the Middle East.

Let's stop pretending,  shall we?  Obama is nothing more than an educated Chicago thug with a very typical black bias against the Jews.  His ordering of John Kerry in the current negotiations with Iran,  is positive proof of my claim.  Relatively few in our country support his willingness to allow Iran its nuclear evolution.  But his domestic opposition is joined by most Middle East nations including but "other than" Israel. The only good news in all this is the fact that if this is a treaty,  it must be approved by Senate.

Understand that Obama is much more than a dangerous novice.  Rather,  he is a revenge minded individual who believes that his election to the US presidency has given him the right to reconstruct much within this country and world.  He is the toy-master and both the world and our nation are in his toy chest.  Think this is just so much hyperbole?  Well,  all I can do is point you to his idea for a new American flag.

Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, the Saudi royal . . . . .  offering up the view — the view of an experienced negotiator from the Middle East — [says]  that U.S. President Barack Obama is outmatched by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

“There’s no confidence in the Obama administration doing the right thing with Iran,” he told me, with a directness that would make Benjamin Netanyahu blush. “We’re really concerned — Israel, Saudi Arabia, the Middle East countries — about this.”

Obama has moved the employer mandate down four weeks, to just after the 2014 midterms. Why . . . . .?

Jay Carney made the announcement today,  that the Administration had moved the deadline for sign-up for those in the employer market to just after the coming midterm.  "This will allow the insurance companies time to assess their costs as they calibrate their new annual premiums."  

No one here believed this.  We all knew "they" were going to postpone that mandate - again,  this time moving it past a very important midterm election.  We all knew this.  

Problem for the Administration:  the reason they gave for this delay.  I mean,  they cannot be honest,  Gawd forgive.  Nope.  

Their reason had to do with reassessment of costs.  Unfortunately,  for this bunch of impostors,  assessments and premium adjustments for the coming year will be finalized - I say "finalized" - in April,  well before the intended October deadline.  

This is just another classless attempt to dig themselves out of the mess they have created with,  yet,  another impossible lie.

Global investors’ confidence in President Barack Obama plunged during the past two months after the government shutdown, a new poll shows, even as stocks traded at record highs and bond yields remained near historic lows.

Just 38 percent of respondents to a Bloomberg Global Poll view Obama favorably as they anticipate another shutdown and more damage to the U.S. economy next year from political gridlock. That’s the lowest since the question was first asked in July 2009 and down from 50 percent in September.
