Is it true that the House sat on Senate immigration legislation for a year?

In his 15 minute speech,  Thursday night,  Obama mentioned that the House has sat on Senate approved legislation for over a year,  and did nothing.  

In defense of the House inaction,  we have this:   

Understand that the CBO (Congressional Budget Office),  which is responsible for "scoring" a proposed bill's claims, did an analysis of the Senate bill and found that the bill did not secure the border,  as claimed.  In fact,  the CBO found that no more than 30% of illegal traffic coming across the border would be prevented with the ratification the Senate bill . . . . .   not good enough for anyone with an ounce of commonsense.  After all,  the point of new "comprehensive immigration legislation" includes closing the southern border, or,  at least,  slowing illegal entry to a respectable or manageable level.  The Senate bill did none of that.  And there was no willingness on the part of the Harry Reid and his do nothing Senate,  to negotiate on this point.   

Occupy DC is presently proposing a Senate bill that would tie Comprehensive Immigration to a bill that continues the funding of Israel's Iron Dome.

Anarchy is the name of the game being played by the Progressive Party.  Today,  these anti-American clowns are proposing a desertion of our agreement with Israel and its Iron Dome Defense system,  should Congress not pass comprehensive immigration embedded in a bill to continue support for Israel's Iron Dome.  

Never mind the fact that Occupy DC did not take the time to pass such legislation back in 2009 and 10,  when the GOP did not have the political/legislative power to stop such legislation.  It was a promise of the Obama, 2008 campaign,  to "pass comprehensive immigration before the end of my first year in office  (that would have been 2009)."  Of course,  this self-serving anarchist didn't even bother to bring it up,  after assuming the Throne, and,  incredibly,   the Hispanic's continued to support him !!!!  Obviously, NO ONE on that side of the aisle,  has an ounce of moral fortitude,  but the reader already knows this, no?

And now,  Occupy DC intends to hold a desperate Israel,  hostage,  in order to get it's way,  before the Congressional recess scheduled to begin the end of July  . . . .  all the more reason for Israel to utterly destroy all of the weapon storage in Gaza,  now.  After all,  Isreal  might not have a full-funded Iron Dome to protect its cities,  thanks to Obama and his grossly immoral proposal in this matter.

Bill Clinton had a better border enforcement policy than Bush 41, Bush 43 and (far better) than the open borders president we now have in office (see the chart).

<<<<   Understand that far more immigrants are crossing our borders,  illegally,  than ever before,  yet,  Obama's border enforcement record is the worst since and including Reagan.  

Before the serious debate from the Left about immigaration reform, 20 to 30 million immigrants; aft serious efforts began, Left touts (only) 11 million immigrants in country. Why?

Here is what will be and is,  wrong with Democrat immigration reform:  1) It will put reform and amnesty ahead of border security; 2) there will be no cap on future immigration into this country from our southern border; 3) as many as 40 million immigrants will be effected,  not the bogus 11 million,  being touted as the official estimate from the Left; 4) under Democrat/Obama rule,  the new law,  should it be written,  will be ignored as the Dems see fit,  effecting and affecting a borderless national pathology;  5) under Obama,  de facto amnesty  is already the case,  and the promise of amnesty** is creating so large a border crossing, as we speak,   that our border patrol is nearly and completely overwhelmed as per the video report on the Kelly Files.

**  Understand that "amnesty" and "path to citizenship" are two very different things, or should be. The concern of the Conservative Nation is that Progressive Socialists will use "amnesty"  (the right to remain in this country until citizenship requirements can be fulfilled),   as a de facto path to citizenship.  Their argument will be:  "It is not fair that these people cannot vote while waiting in line to become citizens.  Let's give them that right, now,  and all the benefits of citizenship,  since they have entered the process to become Americans,  already."  The reader needs to accept reality,  at this point.  Socialist Progressives,  believing that the "ends always justifies the means,"  cannot be trusted with the application of any law that can be turned into a political plus for the advancement of their world view.   

You should know that the waiting period,  admittedly too long,  insures that these "new citizens" will have been exposed to our laws,  and our reverence for US Constitutional law  . . . .  considerations the Radical Left does not honor.
