Bolton confirms U.S. signed document to pay North Korea for Otto Warmbier

National security adviser John Bolton confirmed on "Fox News Sunday" that a Trump administration official signed a document pledging to pay North Korea a $2 million hospital bill to release Otto Warmbier, though he said no money was ultimately transferred.

Trump has rescued 21 hostages from enemy hands  -   more in two years than any other president.  And all without paying a ransom.  Barack,  on the other hand,  paid 5 million dollars to free nine hostages taken by the Muslim Brotherhood back in the day sehn Egypt was unsettled   . . . . .   5 million.  And the American press coverred it up.

Naomi Wolf has joined the Hamas chorus by attacking feminist hero Phyllis Chesler for being a Zionist agent. Wolf has adopted the language of Jew-haters the world over -- an even more bitter irony coming from someone who has written an entire book comparing democratic America to Nazi Germany.

And Chesler’s sin? To have dared to challenge the Left's party line of defending the Islamic mutilators of adolescent girls, and practitioners of gender apartheid. But then again, this isn't anything new for Wolf, seeing that she is on the record for finding the burqa sexy.

In her recent article, “Brandeis Feminists Fail the Historical Moment,” Phyllis Chesler criticized Brandeis' phony feminists for their complicity in the University's denying an honorary degree to Ayaan Hirsi Ali.  In a response on her Facebook page, Wolf joined the anti-Semites of the Mearsheimer-Walt-Blumenthal set, claiming that Chesler has no mind of her own but is merely a puppet of the organized Jews:

She is funded these days by pro-Israel advocacy organizations that support journalists and writers to advocate 'the party line' in terms of hardline anti-Islam and right-wing policy outcomes regarding Israel.

McCain complains that the US has no credibility in the Middle East.

(CNN) – It’s high time for the United States to cut off its $1.3 billion in aid to Egypt as the military regime cracks down violently on protesters, Sen. John McCain argued Sunday.

The Arizona Republican added the U.S. has lost its credibility in the region after failing to follow its own law that requires suspending aid to states overtaken by a military coup–though the U.S. has not officially described the recent regime change in Egypt as a coup.  

Editor's notes: Here are a number of reasons why McCain needs to sit down and shut up:

1.  First, his "principles" are out of whack.  He complains about the anti-Democratic Muslim Brotherhood being taken out of power by the military,  when,  as a point of fact,  the Muslim Brotherhood only used the  democratic election process to win power,  looking to establish Shira Law and rule Egypt as an oppressive dictatorship.  We should never forget that it was the Muslim Brotherhood that murdered Anwar Sadat,  Egypt's very pro-Western,  very popular president,  back in 1981.  The Brotherhood has been around for decades,  and has always been militant and subversive.  

2.  Two, the military only facilitated the will of the Egyptian majority.  Understand that 33 million Egyptians demonstrated in the streets of Cairo,  against Morsi and his band of Islamic thugs.  In the strictest of terms,  therefore,  there was no military coup in Egypt - the military only controlling the obvious will of the people.  Without those demonstrations,  Morsi would still be in power. And,  when the fighting comes to an end,  Egypt will have elections and a non-military,  civilian government, once again.    

3.  The millions given to "Egypt,"  is money actually given to the military, in that country.  The aircraft given to that country was,  of course,  actually given to the military.  To cut off this supply of funding,  would be to permanently destroy what is left of Egyptian/American diplomatic relations.  

4.  Contrary to whatever McCain is thinking,  we need the Egyptian pro-American government to remain in power.  That is critical and for the following reasons:  

-- continuation of the Camp David Accord with Israel; 

--  the free flow of oil and commodities through the Suez Canal; 

--  a working diplomatic relationship with those who represent a Middle East population (in Egypt) that is larger than all other Middle East nations combined.  If Egypt falls into the hands of a Radical Islamic regime,  the existential danger to our homeland increases immeasurably.

Instead,  his ouster was the result of a compliant military surrendering to the demands of 33 million demonstrating Egyptians,  the largest demonstration in the recorded history of man  -  much larger than the demonstrations that brough Morsi to power.  While Morsi's demise is not the result of an offical democratic vote,  clearly,  it is by the will of the people of Egypt.  So much for a "military coup."  Apparently the Bobbsey Twins think it not important that the Muslim Brotherhood is no friend to the West,  that it is bent on the total annihilation of Israel, that its push for Shira Law stands against all of American principles as to social politics,  that it intends to institute dictatorial rule over the very people who voted it into power,   much as Obama longs to do in this country  (and is doing via regulations and blatant violations of Federal/Constitutional law).

Obama should have opened the doors of the WH to all factions within Egypt,  rather than appearing to have taken sides,  favoring the Muslim Brotherhood.  Today,  in the face of a 22 million man demonstration and public opinion (Egyptian) turning against Obama,  our Stranger in the White House has decided to "ride the fence."  The effect of such non-action is to support the Muslim Brotherhood and the people in the streets if of Egypt know this.  the Muslim Brotherhood hates the State of Israel and indicates a willingness to destroy the Jewish nation.   

At the same time,  Samantha Power,  Obama's nominee for Ambassador to the UN,   calls for "investing not in Israel's military but investing in the new State of Palestine."   

I do not believe Hussein is a Muslim,  but he often acts like one and to what purpose ??  That is the real question of the moment.
