The speech by former US Vice-President Al Gore was
apocalyptic. ‘The North Polar ice cap is falling off a cliff,’ he said. ‘It
could be completely gone in summer in as little as seven years. Seven years
from now.’
Those comments came in 2007 as Mr Gore accepted the Nobel
Peace Prize for his campaigning on climate change.
But seven years after his warning, The Mail on Sunday can
reveal that, far from vanishing, the Arctic ice cap has expanded for the second
year in succession – with a surge, depending on how you measure it, of between
43 and 63 per cent since 2012. (quote taken from the Daily Mail because the Marxist Media are in denial).
Editor’s notes: these
weather satellites are the same satellites (RSS) whose data shows a 17 year
slowdown to reversal, of global warming
averages and increases in regional cooling.

The picture is as much a scam as is the anti-intellectual Alarmist Movement. After all, they are the ones who push this picture.
Here is a summation of the
arguments I see as germane to the issue of global warming as a crisis that we
can control or reverse. I ask the reader
to challenge what I briefly state, then
follow that challenge with a second challenge,
in essence, debating with
yourselves. Whichever argument you
cannot defeat is your truth.
I begin with this claim: The Alarmists’ view of global warming is man made (the opinion is man-made or invented). I do
not believe in consensus science, nor do
I believe in a theory that cannot consistently predict outcomes. I know that consensus science has been wrong
in the past, in my lifetime, on many occasions, in matters of the environment (acid rain, the hunger bomb, the ozone whatever, the mini ice age), health, economics and social/domestic
structure. I know that alarmists padded
the books for more than a decade, with
that story breaking in 2009. I expect
government generated warming charts to say the exact same thing when dealing
with warming rates and historical evaluations,
and they do not I know that 30%
of climate scientists do not believe in the alarmists' views (there is more than one) of warming while
believing, at the same time, that warming is happening. I
do not believe that warming has occurred in 12 of the past 16 years. I believe that the current warming rates
began near the turn of the 1900's, back
in the day before we became an industrialized nation. I believe that warming is occurring
throughout our solar system giving posit to the claim that the Sun is the primary cause of our excessive warming trends. I believe that warming, on our planet, is regional,
not global. I believe that Al
Gore, is a moron, with no moral
core. I believe that Central Planning
pays its supporters and punishes its detractors, that the 70 percenters, those climate
scientists who are Alarmists, are not
free to challenge and are more motivated by the funding they receive than
truth. And I believe that the 97% figure
used to frame faux unanimity within the warming community is a totally fabricated
number, I believe that Alarmist Warming
is a potential money pit for the Socialist Pigs who are running the
industrialized world. And I believe that Millennial and Xer generations have
lost the ability to think critically,
i.e., to criticize their own positions in the name of a search for
truth; they have no sense for the dialectic*
pursuit of truth, they (too often) gobble up
what they read and do so without bothering to question their sources or “the
facts.” Instead,
they pretend that this process of intellectual compliance is, somehow, related to "critical
thinking." Their problem? They are lazy, intellectually.
My readers are typical to the
national population, and have made their
feelings clear. Warming as a preventable
event is in the hands of Mother Earth,
not man; warming as a political
priority is at the bottom of every list I seen over the course of the past five

Scientific testimony before the Senate, today, Thursday, July 17: ". . . . there has been very little change in the last 60 years." Boxer responds: "You can see global warming if you look out your window." So much for Democrat regard for real science !

In a Senate hearing Thursday, environmental scientist Roger Pielke of the University of Colorado said it’s “incorrect” to claim that global warming is spurring more extreme weather disasters.
“It is misleading and just plain incorrect to claim that disasters associated with hurricanes, tornadoes, floods or droughts have increased on climate timescales either in the United States or globally,” Pielke said in his testimony before the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. “It is further incorrect to associate the increasing costs of disasters with the emission of greenhouse gases.”
“Hurricanes have not increased in the U.S. in frequency, intensity or normalized damage since at least 1900,” Pielke added. “The same holds for tropical cyclones globally since at least 1970.”
Senate Democrats pointed to the increase in extreme weather events like hurricanes and tornadoes as evidence of global warming. California Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer said that “climate change is real” and human activities were the cause, adding that people can “look out the window” to see evidence of it.
“Heat waves, droughts, wildfires and floods — all are now more frequent and intense,” said President Barack Obama in his State of the Union address.
Pielke, however, notes that U.S. floods have not increased in “frequency or intensity” since 1950 and economic losses from floods have dropped by 75 percent as a percentage of GDP since 1940. Tornado frequency, intensity, and normalized damages have also not increased since 1950, and Pielke even notes that there is some evidence that this has declined.
Pielke noted in his testimony that droughts have been shorter, less frequent, and have covered a smaller portion of the U.S over the last century. Globally, there has been very little change in the last 60 years, he said

The lie of "the Ice caps are melting, the ice caps are melting" is fully exposed in this story.

The first is this one: Top Scientist: 'We can't save the planet'... --- an attempt at a journalistic caused "downville" with regard to news about the planet. The point of the article is this: IT IS TOO LATE -- WE PULLED THE TRIGGER AS TO PLANETARY DOOM THE DAY WE BEGAN TO CIVILIZE SOCIETIES.
The second headline is this: FLASH: Arctic sea ice grows back to 'normal' for first time since 2001...
Question: And what is the point of reconciliation concerning these two stories? Answer: The 90 year old scientist in the first story does not want to admit that no long term predictions issued by doom and gloom climatologists. Remember Katrina? That was 2005. We were told that Katrina was a level 5 hurricane caused by global warming. We were told that we could expect as many as 17 major hurricanes the next year, that in Katrina we had witnessed a sea change in the climate. Anyone know how many level 5 hurricanes have occurred since Katrina? Zero. Level four hurricanes since 2005? Zero. Level three? Two. Level two? Zero. In fact, since Katrina's original analysis, scientist have readjusted there description of Katrine from a level 5 to a . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . level three !!! In five years, only two level three huricanes have landed on any shore line of the United States. In fact, honest people now know that Katrina did not cause any of the serious damage and loss of life in New Orleans. Not at all. Rather, all of that disaster was caused by greed, graft, and the reassignment of funds intended for levy reconstruction.
And the story linked above with regard to the Arctic Ice Cap is more to the point of this post.
You should know that the Northern Ice Cap melts to near extinction EVERY SUMMER and has been doing so for hundreds of years. Conversely, every winter it rebuilds itself. For most of the first decade of the new century, the Northern Cap has not replenished itself to historical levels, although the disparity is only about 10% or less of historic benchmark. This year, however, that is different. The Northern Cap has grown to just beyond historic standards. For an telling story on this circumstance, see our Page 12 archives here.
Let's not forget the prediction that the Himalayain glaciers were going to milt away by 2035 !!
We could go on and on. Think about these three examples. What if they were true ?? There are 15,000 ice caps in the Himalayain range and combine that with the melting of the world's ice caps. Throw in 15 to 20 level 5 hurricanes hitting the US annually and we have the makings of an unmitigated natural disaster so destructive as to go beyond our ability to even imagine. AND NONE OF IT IS TRUE.
Understand that "global warming" takes place ONLY in scientific weather models - not in real life. That has been and is being proven over and over again. -- jds
