Another Mexican innocent is killed by a weapon coming from Obama's Fast and Furious scheme; this time, it was a police chief in the state of Jalisco . . . . . and no one in government is shedding a tear or offering an apology. All we have is an increasing cover-up.

The  LA Times:  tells us that a Mexican police chief in the state of Jalisco, was murdered with a firearm that was traced back to the Fast and Furious gun running scandal out of our own Department of Justice.  

Understand that more than 2,200 guns and rifles were sold to several of Mexico’s drug cartels by American gun stores located along our southern border.  None of the owner’s of these stores were ever prosecuted,  the reason being that they were only following the instructions of the Eric Holder’s  DOJ.  

What is most disturbing about this scandal is the fact that the guns were allegedly  sold in the hopes of tracing them back to the heads of Mexico’s drug traffickers.  The problem with that claim,  fostered by H Obama and his minion,  Eric Holder,  was the fact that not a single tracer device was installed in any of these of guns,  not one.  Obviously,  and I say OBVIOUSLY,  the reason given by Obama’s DOJ was  lie.  No one could be that stupid. 

At the time  (early November of 2009) ,  rumors were every where suggesting that Obama and Holder had concocted  a scheme in which guns where given to Mexican drug lords,  in a scheme to argue for an extensive ban on the private ownership of American guns legally purchased in our own country.  At the time,  and I mean to say,  “at the same time,”  Obama and Holder were making the case that 95% of all guns used in violent crimes in Mexico,  came from the United States  (the actual number was less than 60%,  still a huge number).  The “95%” number was used so often by the Democrats that it was obvious they were determine to repeat this lie often enough to cause it to have the force of fact. 

Conspiracy theory?  Well,  it ain’t a theory if it is a fact.  In this case,  those who reject the subversive nature of Fast and Furious must take the position that  this Administration was criminally inept,  something the Democrats never want to admit. 

Obama and company would have gotten away with this tactic if not for the deaths Jamie Zapata and Brian Terry,  two federal border agents,  murdered by guns left at the scene, and traced (serial numbers) back to Fast and Furious. 

Since then,  Obama has claimed “executive privilege” for Eric Holder,  a misuse of that rule of conduct,  and Holder has been issued a contempt citation for not cooperating with the House committee responsible for investigating the Executive Branch. 

The police chief,  mentioned above,  is one of more than 500 Mexican innocents murdered by these guns,  weapons sent to Mexico on order of Barack Hussein Obama and his stooge,  Eric Holder. 

Cause for impeachment and a little jail time?  Oh,  you betcha,  but,  of course,  it will never happen and Obama knows it.   All we can is to continue to report the sad facts and they surface,  and hold the Democrats responsible,  at any and all elections scheduled in the short term  (2014 and 2016).

After notes:  you should know that Wikipedia has an article on Fast and Furious.  A number of lies are embedded within that text.  First,  it gives the dates for Fast and Furious as 2006 through 2011,  a date that includes President George Bush.  Problem:  the Bush era gun scheme was actually for the purpose of catching the bad buys.  Only 400 guns were involved (some say  as many as 700) and all had trace devices hidden in each gun,  AND,  no federal agents were killed.  "Fast and Furious"  was the name of Obama era scandal,  a name given to it by Eric Holder,  as the nation's Attorney General,  something we know because of recent congressional hearings.  

It is being revealed, today, that Obama's Department of Justice continues to hide behind legal actions, to forestall the Fast and Furious investigation.

In a Washington DC Federal Court filing,  Obama’s Attorney General   has asked for an indefinite delay on a lawsuit brought to the court by Judicial Watch. That document can be found here,  at Scribd.  

In so doing, the “most transparent Administration of all time” continues its cover-up of Fast and Furious,  an illicit federal activity concocted by Obama and Holder, to send guns and rifles (more than 2200) to Mexico,  putting them in the hands of the several cartels in that country,  hoping to poison the waters against pro-gun advocates.  Sadly,  Brian Terry and Jamie Zapata,  two federal agents,  were murdered by the guns along with hundreds (more than 300) Mexican citizens, as the scheme, a first step in Obama’s war on guns,  blew-up in the faces of the two angry blacks at top of our Federal Government.  We know this because guns and ammo tied to Fast and Furious were found at the scenes of these murders.

Understand that the Administration has, on occasion,  explained Fast and Furious (before denying knowledge of same) as an operation determined on exposing illegal gun sales activity along the southern border and the cartel’s who purchased them.  Two “problems” have been revealed since this idiot operation began,  however:  1)  several legitimate gun dealers (there were no “illegal” gun dealers involved) have testified that they were ordered to sell the illegal guns,  ordered by the Feds when they,  the gun dealers,  objected, and, 2) there were no tracking devices installed in any of the guns supplied by the Feds  . . . . .  no tracking devises, making it impossible to trace the guns to a particular cartel;   proof, of course,  that catching the bad guys was never an aspect of Fast and Furious. 

The on-going lawsuit was filed in June of 2012 under the Freedom of Information Acts (FOIA), and seeks all documents pertaining to Obama’s illicit gun running operation. 

Obama filed “executive privilege” on the matter,  in spite of the fact that the lawsuit does not name him or his office.  While his “executive order” is,  therefore, illegal,  he has the power of the White House,  since no one can go in arrest this crook for actions taken.  You cannot arrest the President of the United States !!  You can only impeach him.  Seriously. 

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton and Judical Watch made this statement: 

 “It is beyond ironic that the Obama administration has initiated an anti-gun violence push as it seeking to keep secret key documents about its very own Fast and Furious gun walking scandal.  Getting beyond the Obama administration’s smokescreen, this lawsuit is about a very simple principle: the public’s right to know the full truth about an egregious political scandal that led to the death of at least one American and countless others in Mexico. The American people are sick and tired of the Obama administration trying to rewrite FOIA law to protect this president and his appointees. Americans want answers about Fast and Furious killings and lies.”

You should know that Holder is under civil and criminal contempt charges,  as this article is written.  You should also know,  that Holder has agreed to "stay on" as the A.G. for the next four years. 

The truth about Fast and Furious over and against Wide Receiver.

Wide Receiver was a Bush era gun tracking/running  program that failed.  275 guns were involved and the program was shut down in 2007.  There are no estimates as to the number of guns used by the Cartel coming from Wide Receiver,  but estimates I have hear are close to 50.  It was a bad idea,  under Bush,  and was a separate program from other "gun running" operations. While the DOJ decided to prosecuted this case because of its link to GW Bush,    it (Holder's DOJ)  went ahead and started its own unannounced,  gun-running program,  a program that might never have been known if not for the deaths of Jamie Zapata and Brian Terry,  two federal agents.  

Fast and Furious was begun in 2009;  its name approved by the Eric Holder.  It was the largest gun-running program in American history,  originally involving 2,200 long guns and pistols.   90% of these guns had no tracking devises implanted,  at all.  More than 700 of these guns have shown up at various Mexican crime scenes. The program was clandestine in nature,  and pursued by Holder, while he was prosecuting Justice under Bush for much the same thing.

Wide Receiver was a joint program involving both the American government and the Mexican government. 

Fast and Furious was never approved the Mexican government,  nor was that government aware of the American program.

Wide Receiver guns were used,  no doubt,  in some of the Cartels murders,

But,

None of this compares to Fast and Furious and the 2,500 Mexican’s killed with guns coming from directly from Fast and Furious.

No border patrol or federal agents were killed or wounded by Wide Receiver guns.  

With Fast and Furious,  two American agents were murdered while on patrol.  One such agent,  Brian Terry,  was forced to carry “non-lethal” ammunition while on patrol.  Because of D o J policy  under Obama/Holder,  our agents were/are essentially unarmed,  unless,  of course , they are permitted to use their guns as clubs.  

Who knows what this bunch of “fair minded” moron in the Administration have in mind,  such is a policy, of sorts.  Our soldiers in the "green zone" in Afghanistan were no allowed to carry loaded weapons until three weeks ago, and the Marines at the Cairo embassy carried unloaded weapons,  according Marine blogs in that region.

Remember,  as you read,  you will find these 5 facts accepted by the Lefties:   1) Wide Receiver and Fast and Furious were two separate programs with specific start-up and ending dates, and 2) Wide Receiver was being prosecuted by Holder,  proving,  of course,  that the two programs were separate affairs;  3) Fast and Furious was all other gun-running efforts on steriods;  4) while we can trace F & F to similar programs in the  past,  it remains its own program with specific dates that make it different from all the other such programs;  5)  two federal agents were killed with these guns,  an exclusive for Fast and Furious.

Reporters from Univision are telling their Hispanic audience  -  FOR THE FIRST TIME  -   of Fast and Furious and the unfettered release of guns into the hands of the Mexican cartels.  Neither the State Department nor Eric Holder's DOJ offered any assistance to these reporters,  a televised report that promises to be seen by millions of Hispanic voters.  The ABC film,  itself,  contains all that one needs to know about this scandal and inherent stupidity.

Near midnight, the assassins, later identified as hired guns for the Mexican cartel La Linea, broke into a one-story house and opened fire on a gathering of nearly 60 teenagers. Outside, lookouts gunned down a screaming neighbor and several students who had managed to escape. As part of Operation Fast and Furious, ATF allowed 1,961 guns to "walk" out of the U.S. in an effort to identify the high profile cartel leaders who received them. Understand that "Fast and Furious"  was not an extension of the Bush program known as "Wide Receiver."  "Wide Receiver"  was a Bush era project that sold guns to Mexican cartels.  These guns had tracking devises on them,  none were lost,  and the program was a joint effort of the Bush government and the Mexican government.   Most importantly,   no guns found during this latest scandal are/were  traceable to Wide Receiver.  Indeed,  ALL such guns came are from Fast and Furious.  More than this,  the Mexican government did not know of Fast and Furious.  Keep all this mind when you hear the lies told as Obama continues his cover-up.

The Fast and Furious dike is beginning to leak . . . . badly.

Update:   two contempt citations were passed through the House on Thursday with votes including 17 Democrats. One was a criminal contempt which was declined by the Solicitor General just hours ago.  No surprise there.  The second was a civil action and that will proceed into civil/Federal court,  where Holder will be required to surrender some the documents he wants kept secret.   The investigation will not impact the election except as it presents a corrupt AG office to many voters.  Make no mistake, however,  if Obama survives the election,  this bit of corruption will become one of the principle news stories of Obama's next term.  Nixon prosecutors did much the same thing,  as far as time-tables are concerned,  and he was forced into resignation during his second term.  In the end,  this election will be about the economy  -  not this scandal,  not Obama's passed cocaine use,  not ObamaCare.  All of the above will play a role,  no doubt,  but nothing is more important than the state of the economy and the selection of someone who actually knows what he is doing.

So Elijah Cummings along with Eric Holder knew of top secret details concerning Fast and Furious as of May 24.  Not only that, this information was the result of an approved wire tape that signed by several assistant Attorneys General.  Either these individuals were acting on their own,  or they were acting under Holder’s oversight (at least).  Whatever the case,  it appears that Holder was lying about what he knew and Cummings has been aware of this for several weeks.   Anyone still think this is a partisan witch hunt ???

In the midst of a fiery floor debate over contempt proceedings for Attorney General Eric Holder, House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) quietly dropped a bombshell letter into the Congressional Record.

The May 24 letter to Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), ranking member on the panel, quotes from and describes in detail a secret wiretap application that has become a point of debate in the GOP’s “Fast and Furious” gun-walking probe. . . . . . . .

According to the letter, the wiretap applications contained a startling amount of detail about the operation, which would have tipped off anyone who read them closely about what tactics were being used.

Holder and Cummings have both maintained that the wiretap applications did not contain such details and that the applications were reviewed narrowly for probable cause, not for whether any investigatory tactics contained followed Justice Department policy.
