Editor: Its not that he was into a cover-up, but rather, that he (Trump) was willing for "time" to do its job and, now, we are here.

Trust me, this scandal will not be about Alex Acasta.

Republicans — and some Dems — stand by Acosta amid Jeffrey Epstein charges — White House aides are wringing their hands over the prospect that Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta could be dethroned for his handling of previous accusations of abuse against billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Editor: The Epstein scandal is or will be hugh. In the end, it will not be about a light-handed prosecution of Epstein by Alex Acosta. Epstein served 13 months in prison for his conviction on state charges when he could have gotten 40 years if convicted on federal charges.

While the Dems may try to kick up some dust on Acosta, Trump's Labor Secretary, in the end, this scandal is to big to be derailed by such trivia. Acosta is not the isuue in the Epstein Scandal. Rather, look to Bill Clinton and any number of folks tied to Epstein's two sex venues and involving as many as four dozen or more minor girls ages 14-16 . . . . . And nobody is wringing hands over the Acosta prosecution. After all, Epstein was successfully prosecuted by Acosta, and is a felon because of Acosta. No, this is not about Acosta. Rather, big names of very influencial people are about to be revealed. That is what this is about . . . . not to mention a second trial versus Epstein, this time on federal charges.

Now we know why the Left has not charged Trump with child-sex crimes via the Epstein Scandal

Bradley Edwards, a lawyer who represented Jefferey Epstein’s victims, stated in court documents that Trump had barred Epstein from his Mar-A-Lago estate “because Epstein sexually assaulted an underage girl at the club.”
Neither Trump nor Mar-A-Lago have confirmed that Epstein had been banned from the club.

Epstein is a Democrat problem, not a Trump issue. Here is the truth on that point.

In 2008, . . . . prosecutors — led by Mr. Acosta, then the region’s United States attorney, and now Mr. Trump’s labor secretary — struck a deal with Mr. Epstein’s lawyers that allowed him to avoid federal charges. Instead, Mr. Epstein pleaded guilty to state charges of soliciting a minor for prostitution.

Under the federal charges, Mr. Epstein could have faced life in prison. After the deal, he served 13 months in jail. He had work-release privileges for six days a week, 12 hours each day, during which a private driver picked him up and took him to a nearby office. Editor: Understand the above reference is an article explaining how it is that the Trump Administration has been associated with the Epstein scandal. Turns out that Trump's Labor Secretary, Alexander Acosta, was a prosecuting attorney back in 2008 and help engineer a proseutorial agreement that kept Epstein away from federal prosecution while finding him guilty of state charges. Epstein served time in prison because of the state charges.

Just know that Trump is not involved in this scandal. Rather, folks like Bill Clinton are the ones involved. Clinton visited Epstein's sex related homes and airplane "opportunities" more than three dozen times . . . . . he and dozens of other (mostly) Democrat folks. This is going to be a very big deal and it is just getting started as of this weekend.

Update: Because federal charges were not pursued, double jeopardy does not apply if prosecuted under federal law. But more than this, you should know that a federal judge has vacated the prosecutorial agreement dating back to 2008. In short, prosecution is a certainty and many big names will be implicated.

The Times headline is a deflection, the Epstein scandal, just now developing, is a Clinton/Democrat scandal of major proportions, guaranteed

Editor: This is going to be big and much a problem for the Dems than Trump.
