Our Resident Dictator In Charge" (we used to call this person "president) is about to strike again.

After defeat of Senate cybersecurity bill,Obama weighs executive-order option . . .  Senate Republicans recently blocked cybersecurity legislation, but the issue might not be dead after all.
The White House hasn't ruled out issuing an executive order to strengthen the nation's defenses against cyber attacks if Congress refuses to act.
“In the wake of Congressional inaction and Republican stall tactics, unfortunately, we will continue to be hamstrung by outdated and inadequate statutory authorities that the legislation would have fixed," White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said in an emailed response to whether the president is considering a cybersecurity order. . . . .

Editor's rant:  never mind that the Republicans used Senate rules and a small Democrat contingency to stop this bill's passage through the Senate. Never mind that the president,  any president,  is not a legislator by Constitutional decree.   Never mind that this bill is full of private sector regulations.  Forget about the fact that we already have plenty of "protections" for the military  -  in fact, contrary to Democrat popular belief,  there are grown men running the military who actually know how to prioritized assault protections and put in place effective barriers to whatever enemy strategies that are out there.

If this bill is not totally unnecessary,  it's mountain of new private sector regulations are.   Understand that growing government ever bigger, is part of the Jihaist Left's funding strategy in their quest for wealth  redistribution (from our pocket to theirs - bypassing the poor and the middle class).  Regulation compliance cost money and most of that money goes back to the government in terms of fees,  permits, and [environmental] reviews. Once in the hands of the Feds,  this money can, apparently,  be spent for whatever purposes the Resident Dictator in Charge (we used to call this person "the President") has in mind.

Look,  when a whole segment of the population (i.e., the legislative Democrats)  decides to ignore the rules, sooner or later,  that dictate comes back to haunt them.  The overriding issue with Liberal Democrats is this:  they cannot see beyond the end of their noses.  They never think about "tomorrow" while abusing rules, today.  In every case,  when the tables are turned on them,  they begin their collective Whine,  and sob about the loss of Constitutional equality.

At any rate,  Obama is about to respond with his own rules for this country and in doing so,  has disqualified himself from being "president."  If we win this coming election,   many "in the know" need to concentrate on putting his memory and his so-called "legacy" so far underground,  that its stench will never reach the surface.

Read this post and tell us why Obama is not the self proclaimed Dictator in Chief - seriously.

ICE rebellion is declared in this memo:

In an unprecedented move within the Department of Homeland Security, the special agents responsible for enforcing our nation's immigration laws issued an exhaustive, scathing letter simply titled "VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE IN ICE DIRECTOR JOHN MORTON AND ODPP ASSISTANT DIRECTOR PHYLLIS COVEN" on June 11, 2010. The letter, acquired through sources, provides a litany of examples of how ICE's mission is being skewed towards supporting an unflinching goal of amnesty by refusing to allow agents to do their job; allowing criminal aliens to roam free; depleting resources for key enforcement initiatives that preceded this administration; and misrepresenting facts and programs, demeaning the extent of the criminal alien problem and geared to support amnesty.

The letter, authored by ICE Union President Chris Crane, begins as follows, noting that all ICE union representatives have signed on to a unanimous "Vote of No Confidence" in ICE leadership:

On June 11, 2010, the National Immigration and Customs Enforcement Council and its constituent local representatives from around the nation, acting on behalf of approximately 7,000 ICE officers and employees from the ICE Office of Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), cast a unanimous “Vote of No Confidence” in the Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), John Morton, and the Assistant Director of the ICE Office of Detention Policy and Planning, (ODPP), Phyllis Coven.

Providing numerous facts the media and public have not been privy to, the letter relates ICE leadership dishonesty and failure to abide by their oath to uphold the law. The letter also outlines . . . . . . READ THE FULL ARTICLE HERE >>>>

Editor's notes: at no level of governance is the Obama Administration functioning as it should. In this case, we have more than 250 representatives of the ICE union voting to criticize the head of ICE, John Morton, and the policies of the current Novice in Chief. That's more than 250 to 0 voting to censure the current regime. The full article should be read. Here are two excerpts from the letter reporting this vote:

• While ICE reports internally that more than 90 percent of ICE detainees are first encountered in jails after they are arrested by local police for criminal charges, ICE senior leadership misrepresents this information publicly in order to portray ICE detainees as being non-criminal in nature to support the Administration's position on amnesty and relaxed security at ICE detention facilities.

The majority of ICE ERO Officers are prohibited from making street arrests or enforcing United States immigration laws outside of the institutional (jail) setting. This has effectively created "amnesty through policy" for anyone illegally in the United States who has not been arrested by another agency for a criminal violation.

Understand that this criticism is coming from those who work for the Feds. If any should be in full support of the Administration's policies, it is this bunch. Instead, we have documentation of deceit and misrepresentation coming down from the Administration. Once again, we have Obama circumventing Congressional review and consent and effectively creating amnesty through policy for all illegals who have not been arrested by other agencies for criminal violation. This is why Obama is opposing the Arizona law. Without that law or similar laws in other states, amnesty would be the de facto policy of the day.

Point of post: to offer another example of Obama circumventing Congress to act as if he were a Dictator in Chief. There simply is no other way of framing his actions. From Obama's point of view, the advice and consent of both the Congress and the people it represents are a pain in the butt, something that needs to circumvented as he works to "fundamentally transform the United States of America." We are no longer talking about the difference between "democracy" and a "representative republic" folks. Rather, we are talking about the will of one man versus the will of a nation of people. Get this idiot out of our White House !!!
