It's bad, but the Corona death rate versus the general population is no worse than the Influenza. With a vaccine, the next season of Corna should be similar our fight against the flu, maybe mor successful.

To date,  we have recorded 67,686 deaths in the U.S. with 31,000 of those deaths occurring within  New York and New Jersey (only) .

Two/three months ago,  Tucker (Fox News) was making the case for 2 million deaths in his acceptance of WHO predictions.   'nuff said about that crap prediction. 

In terms of "models for success" in dealing with the virus,  I say, "Forget about Sweden.  Rather, think about Texas."  Understand that Texas has recorded (as of this morning) 886 deaths in a population of 29 million.
