We shut down the government back in the 90's and lost 3 seats in Congress as we kept the House and Senate. In 2013, we shut down the government for nearly two weeks and won the next mid-term elections in 2014 by a historic landslide, so bad in fact, that the Dems never refer to that election. This nonsense that the GOP always gets the blame, is always hurt in the "next election," is a Democrat lie that is allowed to exist by the status Republicans in Congress.

If we have to ride herd on Trump, so be it. And "winning" means we get nothing and the Dems get everything, we are not interested. "Resistance?" Two can play that game, and if our side does not want to play, time to tell them to hit the road.
