Whwn you hear "33,000 a year dead because of gun fire," you really need to be honest about that number.

Turns out that the breakdown for "33,000"  goes like this:  21,000 dead because of suicide  . . . . .  yes, SUICIDE.   Another 10,000 because of gang violence  -  gang member on gang member.  And 2,000 dead in mass shootings,  death by cop,  cop assassinations,   accidental deaths, murders committed during a robbery or some such criminal event,  and domestic shootings.

Understand that this last number is very concerning,  but it is not "33,000."  In other words,  when anti-gun advocates cite "33,000"  they are using an inflated number for the sake of winning the argument  . . . . . .    period   . . . .   and some of these folks have to know what they are doing.

Keep in mind that "33,000" is quoted when the Left is talking about mass shootings like Thousands Oaks.  Turns out that mass shootings similar in scope to Columbine or Thousands Oaks results in 250 dead, annually.
