Update on the midterms and the House

Democrats have to gain 23 House seats in November in order to flip the lower chamber. Democrats have an 83 percent chance of retaking the House, according to FiveThirty Eight.

Obama came into the mid-terms with a 47%  approval rating with Rasmussen and lost 64 seats in the House.  Matt Drudge believes this election cycle will be very similar for the President.

For what it is worth,  this editor (that would be me), at this posting,  believes the chances of keeping the House, is a 50-50 proposition for the GOP.  Understand that more than 45 GOP representatives have opted out of this year's election,  a huge deficit to overcome.  Matt Drudge's prediction (above) only demonstrates his anti-Trump bias.  He could not be more subtle in his opposition to Trump,  but I believe that statements and predictions as above,  demonstrates the truth about where Drudge stands.
