I think a lot of Kavanaugh supporters are ok with the facts of his misbehavior in the past -- youthful indiscretions can be excused. But what can not be excused is his lying to the Senate. FELONY. The FBI can now criminally pursue Kavanaugh for lying to the Senate. Kavanaugh appeared to commit at least four separate provable instances of perjury during his televised Senate testimony, even before the sexual assault accusations surfaced. He lied extensively about the circumstances under which he received and forwarded stolen emails, and among other issues.
Not a single lie. And, the FBI will not pursue felony complaints based on the fantasy the "Kavanaugh lie.' Lets put some money on it, or shut your mouth.
Not the first time the ABA has had concerns about Kavanaugh. in May 2006, as Republicans hoped to finally push Kavanaugh’s nomination across the finish line, the ABA downgraded its endorsement.
He's going down, the FBI's investigation will continue even if he's confirmed. The longer he stays in, the more damage to the GOP. Previous FBI investigations had not interviewed recent witnesses coming forward. The only reason Trump hasn't pulled him is that he thinks Kavanaugh is his 'get out of jail free' card.
Funny, the evidence tells a very diffeent story. Gallup has the GOP's favorability rating up 7 points to 45% versus the Dems at 44%.The Dems look like a bunch of immature morons, refusing to participate in much of the confirmation process, walking out of the assembly and refusing to stay within time-limits set by the Committee.

ReplyDeleteJust to be clear, Kavanaugh has gone through six EXTENSIVE FBI investigations all with perfect marks, and the ABA gives Kavanaugh an A++ rating.
