No Steele, no reason for an investigation, and, there is no Steele !!!!!

WASHINGTON, Oct 4 (Reuters) - The special counsel investigating whether Russia tried to sway the 2016 U.S. election has taken over FBI inquiries into a former British spy's dossier of allegations of Russian financial and personal links to President Donald Trump's campaign and associates, sources familiar with the inquiry told Reuters.
A report compiled by former MI6 officer Christopher Steele identified Russian businessmen and others whom U.S. intelligence analysts have concluded are Russian intelligence officers or working on behalf of the Russian government.

Editor's note:  Here is the problem with the above Rueter's "report."  Without confirmation,  the Steele Dossier,  is nothing but a propaganda hit piece designed to trash Trump on behalf of Hillary Clinton.  None of the content of the Dossier can be confirmed per the report filed by the Senate committee chairmen leading the partisan investigation.  We were told by this committee that the Brit who compiled the Dossier has refused any and all comment.  He has never been interviewed and refuses to do so.  And yet,  this piece of junk mail is the center piece in the sham investigation currently under way.    Who gives a rip whether Mueller is also investigating the Dossier?  Without Steele,  the conclusions of Mueller will be just as meaningless as the Senate's report of Wednesday,  Oct. 4th.

Understand that the committee Chair told reporters,  yesterday,  that they had exhausted all known leads,  that they had spent 250 hours doing so,  and that they had come up with nothing new.  All conclusions announced by committee leadership,  were conclusions known for months,  prior to yesterday's presser.  But they are going to keep the investigation open just in case something critical comes to light.

What a waste of time and money.  The fact of the matter is this:  The impetus for Congressional investigation was the Steele Dossier, and,  it is admittedly worthless without Steele's testimony.

In short,  "they" have nothing,  which is exactly what they had, 18 months ago.  Did Russia try to influence our elections?  Of course it did.  Just ask Barack Hussein.  He and his State Department knew this 21 months ago,  and, refused to share this information with election authorities in the 21 states potentially affected by Russian efforts.  Did Trump have anything to do with this meddling?  Absolutely not.  Case closed.  Dems (and GOP lackeys)  prove themselves to be fools,  and, life moves on.

Don't you ever get tired of spewing false information?

    1. Hey you sac of crap, until that article came out TODAY, no one knew about the interview. More than that, I will bet it wasn't revealed because Mueller got nothing out of the interview or he would have leaked that story, just as he leaked the CNN story today.

  2. Yes, the Steele dossier has been corroborated, and intel can not reveal 'what and how' for reasons of nat'l security. In other words, Trump is the enemy within and the proof is there.... and more is being collected every day. Mueller didn't hire investigators, he hired prosecutors and empaneled 3 grand juries - for a reason.

A fresh hell every day for you and Trump.

    1. Total nonsense. If the Steele document had been confirmed, Trump would be gone, already. There would be leaks like from a shiv. The media would be making up "confirmation" stories beyond belief. BUT NONE OF THIS HAS HAPPENED, proving, OF COURSE, that your incessant rhetoric is pure crap.

Me? If they prosecute Manafort, it only proves the failure of the witch hunt. I am not worried in the slightest. Trump a secret agent? Just shows how gullible you are. Laughable

  3. In my comment, I told you the evidence for why the Steele dossier has been corroborated, you deleted it from my comment. Obviously you found the evidence threatening and chose to suppress it.

    1. Neither of the congressional committees are in possession of the confirming evidence to which you elude. I deleted your comment because did not name specifics in the Dossier that have been confirmed. "Corroboration" is a lie. That is why I made the deletion. Make the case for a specific in the Dossier, tell me how it affects his Presidency, and I will print it. Otherwise sheer claims to the Left will not ever get published. Ours is a debate between Capitalism and Communism, pure and simple, and I actually hate "communism."

    2. OK here are your specifics and the accompanying articles:
Well before these items were reported by the media, the Steele dossier proved correct in these following items.

      1) Steele dossier outed a leading Russian diplomat, Mikhail Kalugin posing as a Russian spy. Kalugin was withdrawn as a result.
      2) Before there was any reporting that Russia was the source of election hacking, the Steele dossier reported: "a stream of further hacked Clinton email has been injected by the Kremlin into compliant western media outlets like Wikileaks."
      3) Months before it became publicly known, the Steele dossier had reported Trump "explored real estate development in Moscow."
      4) The Steele dossier reports that "the Trump campaign agreed to minimize US opposition to Russia's incursions into Ukraine". In July 2016, J. D. Gordon, who was one of Trump's national security advisers during the campaign, said that he had advocated for changing language easing the GOP position on supporting the resistance to the Putin takeover of the Ukraine, because that reflected what Trump had said he wanted. This was Trump's ONLY suggested amendment to the GOP party platform.
      5) On February 10, 2017, CNN reported that some communications between "senior Russian officials and other Russian individuals" described in the dossier had been corroborated by multiple U.S. officials. Sources told CNN that some conversations had been "intercepted during routine intelligence gathering", but refused to reveal the content of conversations due to the on going investigation.

    3. Not one of the 5 points makes a case for Trump as a "secret Russian agent" or establishes the fantasy that Trump worked in collusion with the Russian to influence the elections. For one thing, he didn't need any help. He was running against the most inept Presidential candidate of all time.

Keep in mind that neither congressional committee used any of the nonsense you posit as reason to impeach trump. The CNN report is sheer propaganda based upon the countless lies this network has published over the past 8 months.

  4. Just hours after the Trump Jr meeting with the Russians was confirmed, Donald Trump was boasting he would soon "give a major speech on probably Monday of next week and we’re going to be discussing all of the things that have taken place with the Clintons." - D. Trump

    1. Let me get this right: Hillary uses the Brits to get dirt on Trump and that is fine, but if Trump gets dirt on Hillary from a supposed Russian Dossier, that is evil. Is that correct . . . . . understand that Hillary and Barack where proud of their Russian reset, Obama defending Russia in a debate with Mitt in 2012, even to pledge allegiance to Putin on an open mic. OOOOOOOOOOOO, I am worried.

  6. Trump is just itching to start a war with N. Korea to try and help his approval. As Bob Corker said on Wednesday, Gens. John Kelly and James Mattis, as well as SS Rex Tillerson are the "people that help separate our country from chaos." At least 2 of these guys are on the verge of resigning. Then, Trump will have no checks and advice, he may just trigger a nuclear war, as everyone knows, he's dangerously mentally unstable.
