Some states and cities vow to support Paris. If successful, they will only prove that we never needed the Paris Accord in the first place.

Evan Halper / Los Angeles Times:
A California-led alliance of cities and states vows to keep the Paris climate accord intact  —  Gov. Andrew Cuomo directed One World Trade Center and the Kosciuszko Bridge to be lighted in green in support of the Paris accord.  (Kevin P. Coughlin / Office of Gov. Andrew Cuomo)
Progressive states and local [large] municipalities are pledging their support for the Paris Accord.  I say,  good for them.  Conservatives have long supported free market principles and "states rights."
Trump has moved against a climate agreement that demands the U.S. spend 100 billion dollars in hard cash,  each and every year.  And what does this expense give the world in terms of actual managed climate change?  A reduction is world temps of two tenths of one degree Cecelia , which is a change to our climate futures that is not measurable.  In other words,  this Paris agreement will have no impact on our climate at all   . . . . .   none.
Understand this,  Paris is not about climate control because there is none as provided with this agreement.  It is about stealing the wealth of America and giving it to the dictators leadership of the.  There are estimates that have the US spending 200 trillion dollars over the course of the coming 100 years, but,  without argument,  the United States is charged with spending 100 billion each and every years or 10 trillion dollars.
You should know that Progressives have no clue as to how to craft accurate cost estimates.  Going from 10 trillion (their estimate) to 200 trillion is no stretch.  Social Security was sold to America as a pay-as-you-go safety net federal program.  Today it is 60 trillion in the hole or the size of all 200 world's annual economies combined.  In other word's Social Security is far far from being solvent and promises never to be.  You can't "fix" a program that is 60 trillion in the hole (they call this "unfunded liabilities").

THAT is the future for this Paris agreement, as well.  And, it is the work of one man (Barack) who refused to take it to Congress.  No long term federal program that gives away US dollars on a large scale,  should be allowed to continued if not ratified by the American People via congress.

If the states want to weigh down their individual constituencies,  let them.  Using conservative principles of governance,  they have that right.  Just know this,  they are not defeating Trump in doing so.  The Paris Agreement on the federal level,  is done, at least during this presidency.    No more repressive taxation to support this nothing-burger.  No more regressive regulations,  robbing [especially] small business the ability to flourish.  We are not all going to die,  and we know this,  because the Paris Agreement does not address this [make believe] problem   . . . .   real or not.  It does not provide a solution to any of the dire warnings manufactured by the Dislocated Left.  And that should be the bottom line.

Hail to the Chief.

Again,  let them try,  These governors and mayors will soon learn that they do not have financial ability to make their plans work.  And if I am wrong,  great!!  That success would only prove we do not need the Paris Agreement on a national level.

Turns out the Dimms can't win for losing on this protest.
