Please stop telling folks that only the rich benefit from tax reduction:

Here are a few of the taxes that will be cut if the GOP reform bill passes:

Most of the current tax exemptions benefiting the bottom 45% of all wage earners  (that's more than 62 million folks) will not pay any federal or state income taxes  (I am not talking about SS taxes and the like, however).

The top 1% pay more taxes as a group than the bottom 90% of tax payers,  combined   . . . . . .    so stop pretending that the rich do not pay their fair share.  That is a lie by anyone's standards.

A tax exemption of 24,000 dollars rather than today's 12,000 exemption will be part of this new tax package.  While we lose the state income credit and the mortgage interest deduction,  the doubling of the tax exemption more than covers these items,  in a typical scenario.

Tax relief to the Middle Class will amount to $1000/2500 savings on their tax bill.

Taxes on flexible savings accounts will not be assessed  -  effecting 30 million folks,  most of which are Middle Class Americans.

Taxation on Health Savings plans will be cut,  effecting 20 million Middle Class Americans.

Penalty taxes levied against those who didn't buy into ObamaCare - 6 million Americans benefit from this,  all of whom are the working poor or our younger generation.
