Midknight Review -- new and revised: It may surprise you, but Trump was not hurt THAT MUCH via the passage of the stop gap budget proposal (that vote is not final, btw).

Look, the Doom and Gloom media (that would include the conservative media) wants you to believe that the tentative passage of the final stage of the Obama Error budget is death to the President and his agenda.

"He got taken to the cleaners." "His wall was not in the new agreement." "He capitulated on abortion and Planned Parenthood." And the EPA gets an increase in funding. Blay, blay blay.

Think about this: Trump signed an Executive Order allowing the individual states to cut their funding of Planned Parenthood and has put a stop on federal funded abortions via oversees federal programs. While the Dems got what they wanted in the budget regarding Planned Parenthood, there is no legislation that requires President Trump to allocate those funds to Planned Parenthood.

And the Wall: The new stop-gap budget gives $1.5 billion to border services. Nothing in the budget to prevent Trump from spending some of that money on design and property procurement for the Wall.

The EPA? Need I remind you that Trump can still cut personnel at the EPA and change the agency's priorities.

And The Man got 21 billion as a down payment on Trump's renewed military build up.

I am sorry, but you have to pardon me for not getting overly distressed because of the new budget. Understand that all of the media outside of Fox News wants Trump to fail. Even with Fox, there is a significant number of pundits who are not supporters of Trump, including the gay Shephard Smith, probably Chris Wallace, and Judith Miller.

Me? I have started listening to OAN (One America News) and its no spin news cast. Its boring without all that crap about "the sky is falling, the sky is falling," but it covers more news items in an hour than Fox or MSNBC or CNN covers in a week.

The Stated Nonsense from the Left now includes these Progressive goals:

July 2, 2008, Obama had this to say: "We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."
