Before he was Black, he was White, then he got the idea that he could be president as a Black man, and he was right.

Raised as a privileged white kid,  acted white,  dated white throughout his high school and early college days,  until he discovered the power of being a black leader.   

Sheila Miyoshi Jager is forthcoming about her relationship with the future Prez in her interview with the author, recounting their time living together in Chicago, meeting one another's parents, and even their serious marriage talks.

 In fact, Sheila says she only declined his first proposal because her mother thought she was still too young at just 23 years old.

 But the relationship ended for other reasons; the couple's downfall seemed to parallel Barack's political rise:
"I remember very clearly when this transformation happened, and I remember very specifically that by 1987, about a year into our relationship, he already had his sights on becoming president."
It was this ambition that supposedly tore the couple apart
