The Trump administration is ill-prepared for a global pandemic
Seriously????? You mean to tell me that after just 70 days in office, with more than half his cabinet and sub-cabinet staff held up by the Pelosi/Schumer do nothing Democrats, some on the Left dare to suggest that the Administration taking over the Department of Health and Human services, is inheriting a department that has had no plans or supply for dealing with a global pandemic, is that the message??!!!
Good grief.
Look, only the most ill-informed would believe that a newly elected Administration inherits nothing in terms of existing staff and preparedness. That's nuts. Most department employees are "lifers" in the sense that they survive the changing of the guard following each national election. Each of the 16 departments needing newly appointed folks at the top, have anywhere from 8 to 16 thousand staffers. They are already there. The only need is for appointments at the top complete with the new agenda. If Trump is ill prepared for a global pandemic, it is ONLY the fault of the past Administration . . . . . . . . period.
