Ben Weyl / Politico:
GOP and Trump put deficit on back burner
I don't know that we can ever erase the national debt. But most economists believe we can mediate our debt's influence and downsize the debt, itself, with a GDP average of 2.75% or more.
Under Obama, our first 7 years averaged 1.3% GDP, a number that put us just above recessionary status. Barack loves talking about how healthy our economy was/is compared to the other industrialized nations of the world, but that is the wrong standard. His 1.3 GDP average is the lowest such average of any modern day president. Who cares how we measure up on the world's stage? The real test is how we compare to what previous generations have done.
Obama had no clue as to how to create a growing economy. Trump does.
HAHA!! Republicans love to spend the money when they are in office, but when a Democrat is in office "OH MY GAWD, THE DEFICIT!!!" Further proof that you and the REDS believe in NOTHING!!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what you are talking about. And, sadly, I am pretty sure you don't know, either. You sure as hell didn't know what you were talking about before the election. You have both feet in your mouth. Didn't your mother ever tell you not to talk with your mouth full?
DeleteI'm sorry that your reading comprehension is so poor. Maybe you are emulating our new head of illiteracy. Did you link to the article to save it for later? Did you forget all the protests over government spending? I guess you're getting to the age where its hard to remember the directions to your house.
DeleteIts pretty hilarious to see Trump pushing a nearly identical plan to Obama's from 5 years ago and he's suddenly a genius!!
You seem to think you know me but I hadn't commented on your blog for years before last week.
Trump and Obama on the same track? Good grief. But you have to make up crap in order to deal with your new reality, that being "Smithson wins and Yelverton loses." he he he he he he he he .
